A flat grassy area beside a river, suitable for campervans and offering green surroundings and good walking. It can be windy and needs some manoeuvring to get level, with space for a few vans or 2 vans or 1 large motorhome. Traffic is mainly during the day and usually quiet after 20:00, although the site is beside a single-track road.

A very pleasant spot, with a small river below, ideal for a relaxing, peaceful break. Quiet night, even though someone jealous honked during the night! But in my opinion, they probably honked at others along the way too!
Couldn't fault this layby. Great views, generally quiet after 10pm. Stayed in our Tentbox.

Great spot. Although it is beside the road, you can drive a little farther in and find a quiet, idyllic place. There is also a small stream right next to it.
Perfect place with an unobstructed view. We slept peacefully. Very little vehicle traffic at night, apart from a farmer making trips with his sheep trailer.

Very beautiful, with a view and no traffic during the night; the first cars arrived around 6–7 a.m. Easily accessible, with virtually no midges in mid-May.
Not bad for a night, although right next to a house. Felt safe, but it was noisy because of cars quite early in the morning and in the evenings.
A very peaceful night. We set up on the lower path. A few cars until 9 p.m., but it is still a very lightly used road. Observatory right next door. Space for two or three vehicles, including a long motorhome.

Wonderful, peaceful spot in nature with a beautiful view. We had a lovely lunch break. Certainly very good for sleeping. Natural place with no services; preserve it.
