Camping Mont des Bruyères

Very pleasant stay at this simple, natural campsite where cats, dogs and chickens roam freely. The sanitary facilities are very clean. On Friday evening, there is the option to eat on site a meal prepared by the chef; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The campsite guests and regulars are very friendly.✦Translating

A rustic, aging campsite. The questionable four stars probably come from the grocery shop, swimming pool and morning bread delivery to the pitch. We paid €37 without electricity. The pitches are spacious and located in the forest, some very shady and uneven. The campsite is occupied by many mobile homes and only a few pitches.✦Translating

Basically a lovely campsite, with large pitches below separated by hedges, and a wooded area farther up where free camping is allowed (currently closed). Sanitary facilities: you have to like them. The toilets are so narrow that you almost have to stand inside the toilet to open or close the door. Showers... well... okay! Unisex bathrooms, open urinal, so everyone can watch the men. Disabled toilet/showers are a catastrophe. Friendliness is also just okay.✦Translating

Cosy campsite, bar/restaurant, small swimming pool. I found it very expensive: €46.50 for one night. Loud music until midnight (Friday evening). Pitches with gravel and hedges around them; we couldn’t get tent pegs in, luckily the weather was nice. Children aged 12 and over count as adults. So there were three “adults” and one child: camper van (bed on wheels), dome tent, electricity.✦Translating

A campsite in decline, but its abandonment has a certain beauty. It has a swimming pool, which is appreciated in summer. The campsite is large. The grass is not its strong point for camping. There is toilet paper in the bathroom. There is a thermal spa nearby (€18). Best: sleeping in the forest, with great shade. Worst: the mosquitoes! They ate me. Price per night: €22.✦Translating

An average experience. On the plus side there was a nice bar, the elderly who live there are adds to a family atmosphere and the flexible personal. However, there was not so high standard in general, dirty fridge, ok bathroom, mosquitos. Too expensive for what was offered.

We liked it here, perfect for Paris Roubaix with nice cycling routes and dog walks in the wood. Try to get a pitch on the inner ring, the outside ones are a mixed up lots of statics. Good facilities and friendly people.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. However, reception was rarely staffed. The location in the middle of a large nature reserve was simply wonderful. Unfortunately, the electricity connection was immediately switched off during short absences, which was somewhat annoying. In addition, there was relatively little sunlight throughout the site because of the dense tree cover.✦Translating

Nice, clean and beautiful campsite. Lots of shade and spacious pitches, all with a picnic bench. The only real disadvantage is the large number of roosters that crow almost all night. Even with earplugs, they could be heard.✦Translating
