City parking, early departure required

We arrived at 6 p.m. and paid for two hours. After 8 p.m. and until 7 a.m. it is free. But we preferred to spend the night in a quieter place.

Excellent parking area for visiting the town and brewery. We arrived at noon, visited the town, and went on the brewery tour in the evening. We slept there for one night and left again before 7 a.m. Perfect!

Quite centrally located. Free from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Safe and illuminated. We stayed overnight here. First we went on a very interesting brewery tour, and the next morning we visited the town with a parking ticket.

We parked on Sunday to see the center, which is a five-minute walk away.

Absolutely excellent for visiting the brewery, as everything else was full. We were even able to park our 7.90 m motorhome, with the rear close to the house wall while leaving room for pedestrians. The ticket machine was easy to use: enter the license plate, select the time, and tap the card.

Parking for cars and buses. €1 per hour between 7:00 and 19:00, but parking tickets were not checked during the day, at least until noon (October). Quiet apart from the bus crews who clean or have their buses cleaned here between uses. Good place for one night. Safe.

You can no longer stay by the river; the area is closed. There are car parking spaces, free from 19:00 to 07:00. As a compromise for late arrival and early departure, it is also possible for large campers to park crosswise. The city is currently doing nothing proactively (yet?) to invite motorhomes to stay overnight near the city center and brewery. No services at all.

I see no chance of parking here.

It's a shame: a large car park next to the city center and not especially expensive. But when we returned after a three-hour walk, the passenger door lock had been forced, even though there was traffic and many people could see it. The police were notified.

We parked here to visit the city. When we arrived, the parking lot was full, and opposite it there is an area with three unrestricted spaces where a vehicle was leaving, so we parked there. There was broken glass on the ground in one of the spaces, but the police were present controlling the buses, so it seemed safe to us. We did not stay overnight.

We stayed a little farther back by the river, in the unpaved parking lot. It was quite quiet at the weekend; only a few anglers came in the morning.
