A very quiet place, with few people—or no one—in the evening; we spent a wonderful night there. A very beautiful view, both before sunset and upon waking. We loved it and highly recommend this place for a walk or to spend one or more nights.
Wow, what a panoramic view! Ideal for spending a night alone in the world, with a magnificent sunset and sunrise. We are still here!
Hello, the place is closed. Access cannot be made with a van. There is no possibility to turn around or pass another vehicle.
Superb spot, magnificent 360° view, sunrise and sunset. At the beginning of November, there were a few hikers, mountain bikers, and mushroom pickers during the day, but no one in the evening—complete peace and quiet. We spent three nights there on November 9, 10, and 11; there was only one other van on the first evening.
Beautiful place to spend a night. Very calm at night and with a beautiful view! The road up there is quite narrow but doable with a van. At the end there is a short dirt road part, but it’s not a big deal. Great place!
Quiet, with little traffic—just a few cyclists, hikers, and forest rangers. The pass is near a Seveso site. The last kilometer is indeed quite narrow but passable. A beautiful night under a starry sky!
The best! Early-morning view over Forcalquier and Mont Ventoux in the distance! A fabulous starry sky... A peaceful night alone in the world!
Spot visited in May. Beautiful view and sunset. Night without any noise or light pollution. Clean. Several vans on site but plenty of space. Access with a Citroën Jumper, 2.80 m high, without any problems. I recommend it.
Very nice spot with an unobstructed view. Be careful about the road used to get there; use the D5! Road suitable for a van and small motorhome. Unfortunately, we couldn’t spend the whole night because some unsavory people arrived around 11 p.m. (Just bad luck!) Now it remains to be seen whether this presence is recurring.
Incredible spot! We arrived at the end of the day and were alone. Just one car full of partying young people in the middle of the night, but the sunrise is well worth the trip.
Spot on a ridge, with magnificent views including Mont Ventoux and the Barre des Écrins. Beautiful sunsets, weather permitting. Starting point for hikes, and depending on the season, mushroom picking is possible.
Perfect overnight stay in the off-season.
I spent two restful nights here. Great spot with a wonderful view and absolute peace and quiet! I never felt unsafe here. During the day, I could charge all my devices thanks to the sun and enjoy walks in the adjacent park. The approach is somewhat bumpy due to the many potholes. Nevertheless, it should be manageable for almost any car.
Very nice place to spend the night. We were completely alone and watched a beautiful sunset. The approach is somewhat narrow, but should be manageable with a Sprinter and is definitely worth it.
I parked right at the very end near the barrier, with a little shade and a magnificent view!
Superb view, quiet, but avoid windy days. There is nowhere to shelter from the wind. An environmental ranger does indeed make rounds several times a day, but says nothing. Be aware that in summer the access is often closed, also because of the high attendance on fine days, especially in the evening. Having around fifty vehicles there is not unusual.
