Been here?
Small parking place at the end of a dead-end road beside the Egboetswater nature reserve and a canal. It has no services and space for 3-4 small vans, while larger motorhomes may find turning difficult. The area offers peaceful walking and cycling paths, wildlife and quiet surroundings, although local walkers pass by. It is not suitable for overnight stays, as enforcement has asked visitors to leave.

Really nice place right by the canal. There is room for three or four small vans. Quite a few dog walkers and locals pass by, but they are incredibly friendly.Translating
Ideal place for nature lovers. In a wooded setting, with a small canal where rowing boats occasionally pass. Tulip fields, mallards, geese, grebes... Pure joy. Of course, there are no services here. Large motorhomes should avoid it, as turning around at the end of the track is quite difficult. We would return if we come back to the area!Translating
Beautiful spot. A few walkers come and go early in the morning. Good starting point for a walk.Translating

What a wonderful place. We were completely alone. Dead quiet at night. The nature reserve is really beautiful! Please keep the place clean! Rubbish bin nearby.Translating
Peaceful, pleasant spot at the end of a dead-end road on the edge of a nature reserve. We and our animals really enjoyed it.Translating
A lovely spot in a small hiking parking area at the end of a dead-end road. Very quiet at night, and not much was happening in the morning either. The site is in a nature reserve with beautiful cycling and hiking trails. We would stay here again.Translating
A really lovely, peaceful spot next to waterways and lots of cycling/walking/running paths. Very quiet at night. Lots of mosquitoes though. We ended up staying a second night after going into Enkhuizen for the day. Really nice spot. Hardly any cars parking there so we didn't feel too guilty taking up space. Thank you for allowing campers.Translating
