This daytime parking area has a magnificent lake view and good access to the Mar Menor, with space for walking dogs and water activities. Camping and overnight stays are not permitted, and recent use has included awnings, furniture, open drains, boats and nighttime parties. The beach is shallow, with jellyfish reported, but the setting is suitable for families and dogs.

It is not just that people spend the night camping in the fullest sense of the word... awnings, chairs, tables, clotheslines... and even bonfires. They also leave waste outlets open and moor their little boats on the beach so they do not drift away. Caravans gather in the center for nighttime parties. Motorhomes park right by the sea and vans squeeze between the hedges; nobody is exempt here...
Good access. Ideal for surfers. Good access to the Mar Menor and a spacious area for walking the dog. The sunset is beautiful.
We spent the day here in July this summer and came back for several more days. We had a great time, without any problems! There were jellyfish at the beach and it is not deep at all. They offer many water activities. Quiet, family-friendly place.
After asking the local police directly, camping is not permitted on the site.
On January 29, 2024, the site was cleared again. Camping behavior will be expensive. So better no table or chairs, no stabilizer legs or leveling wedges, and no extended satellite dish. Then you will only be asked to leave the site.
