Gravel parking, daytime road noise

Gravel parking at the foot of the statue. Several tables are available for eating in the grassy area, shaded by trees. Bins are available for waste. Clean place. Pleasant spot, although indeed immediately next to the main road.✦Translating

We had a very good, very quiet night here with six other motorhomes. There are four large tables under the trees for eating. Thanks to the municipality for making this place available to motorhome users. The walking and cycling route to Omaha Beach starts here and is a delight; the village has many shops just a stone’s throw away.✦Translating

A nice quiet place to park up for the night on the outskirts of Grandcamp Maisy. The sculpture makes it easy to find. No issues, and we were the only van there.

Fine for a short picnic stop and to visit the Peace Statue monument, but not for sleeping given the proximity of the noisy D514 and the glass recycling bins next to it.✦Translating

Beautiful, quiet spot at night. 15 minutes by bike from Pointe du Hoc via the cycle path, pleasant and safe for children. 10 minutes from the sea and restaurants. Please respect the place if we want it to remain available. And thanks to the municipality of Grandcamp-Maisy.✦Translating
