A quiet lay-by beside a loch, with beautiful views, slight ground slope and access to the water via steps down to a beach. Between 6pm and 10am, only 20 vehicles passed in one recent stay, although some travel at high speed. It has space for about two campervans and no services are mentioned. The location is reached by driving 30 minutes from Oban.

I drove the 30 minutes from Oban because it's so hard to find a parking place there, and I'm glad I did. Beautiful views, with access to the loch. Ground is on a slight slope but bearable. Fom 6pm to 10am only 20 vehicles passed, it's very quiet though some do pass at high speed, overall there was much less traffic and it was far quieter than I had hoped! Good phone signal, but no bins.

A very beautiful spot to sleep! We arrived at 10 p.m.; two cars passed during the night. Very quiet and a great view upon waking! Owls and birds present!

Spot beside a road that was little used at night (only 4 vehicles between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., then 3–4 until we left at 9:20). We had to lower the rooftop tent around 6:30 p.m. because it became extremely windy (and stayed that way all night); fortunately, we can sleep inside.
Nice quiet spot next to the sea
Lovely spot with a very beautiful view. Look carefully at the water—you might even spot a seal. It is right next to the road, but definitely fine. Hardly any cars pass by.

Beautiful view over the loch and fairly quiet beside the road. Strangely enough, I got the best and fastest 4G connection here of anywhere in Scotland.
