Estrada Principal, 2710-357, Sintra
Been here?
This is a flat Continente supermarket car park where motorhomes may stay for 24 hs, provided they buy something from the supermarket. Recent stays in the rear section were quiet, safe, and convenient for visiting Sintra, including by Uber. There are no services apart from bins, and ramps, open tents, chairs, and similar equipment are not allowed. Workers arrive at 6h30, bringing increased noise.

It is a supermarket car park, nothing more. It is flat and has the advantage of being close to Sintra. For about €8, you can get there by Uber. The phone network is good. Safe travels.
We stayed for two nights to visit Sintra. It is a large car park, and we left our motorhome at the back so as not to disturb the neighbors who come shopping. We were very comfortable there both nights. We went to the supermarket to shop on both days. At the entrance there is a clothing store with very good prices.
Thanks to Continente, I was able to spend one night visiting Sintra; of course, I made purchases on both days. For just over €5, you can take an Uber to Pena Palace. I parked at the back to cause as little disturbance as possible; it is exactly where the employees park. It is fairly level and very safe. It is illuminated until 2 a.m., and at 6 a.m. you can hear some movement from employees' cars.
We parked here before getting a Bolt into Sintra. We bought some items from the supermarket. Stayed 4 hours or so.
We did not park in the supermarket car park but on the street right next to it. We did not stay overnight, only stopped to take the bus into Sintra. For overnighting, we drove on to Cabo da Roca. Taking the bus into Sintra is the safest option; there is a lot of theft locally. The bus driver even allowed our dog, wearing a muzzle, to ride.
We didn’t have any hassle, quiet night. We only stayed 1 night as didn’t want to overstay our welcome. Bought from the store both days. Easy to get an uber into Sintra. Only bins there, no services.
Quiet night. We slept alone in the car park; it felt safe. At 6:30 in the morning, the workers arrive and there is more noise.
Parked our camper van in the back of the parking lot. No one bothered us. Slept overnight and took an uber into Sintra to get to the palace. It was a great plan. We slept just fine. Perfect for larger vehicles that will have a hard time getting around the town.
We spent a peaceful night, considering that there was quite a strong storm with wind and rain all night. We felt safe, and the wind did not shake our van too much; we were somewhat sheltered by the surrounding buildings.
The supermarket is best, and the parking area is flat.
