Lakeside picnic area, steep parking

A spot just as described. We stopped here to eat and could easily have spent the night. A few families and fishermen were at the lake. The rubbish bins were poorly stored, as is the case in many places in Spain.✦Translating

The water is currently so high that you cannot stay here; it is far too sloped. We tried a little closer to the road, but there was an enormous amount of rubbish, including condoms, so we left. Perhaps it is better when the water is low, but not now in November.✦Translating

Beautiful, quiet place in the countryside. The benches are still perfectly usable, even though they are somewhat old. I cannot quite understand the criticism about the rubbish—you can take it with you and dispose of it in the next town. Otherwise, it is quite clean here, just very overgrown at the moment. Beautiful place, but ?you? Are not able to dispose of your trash properly, so there is trash everywhere, while at the entrance there is a big sign that sais to not dipose of trash here. So disrespectful, you shame the whole vanlife community

We spent a quiet night at this spot, which is easy to reach, peaceful, and has a wonderful view. We felt very safe. However, there were an incredible number of wasps in the morning, so depending on the season the place may be difficult during the day.✦Translating

We slept one night on the 9th, when there were festivals in Monesterio, and it was great. We were alone all night; the road is nearby but not bothersome. The area is very dirty, so we cleaned up the area where we parked. The viewpoint is in poor condition and seems to be used as a urinal. I give it 4 stars for the peace and the views.✦Translating

Very pleasant and peaceful place. We stayed in the picnic area beneath a large tree that provided shade. You can go down to the reservoir, fish, walk, and canoe. Smoking is prohibited, which makes sense. There are no signs prohibiting overnight stays. Two large rubbish containers are right beside it.✦Translating
