A huge site, practically empty... For the theoretically possible occupancy, having only 2 showers and 2 toilets each is clearly insufficient. No chemical-toilet or grey-water disposal, no fresh water. Sanitary facilities in excellent condition. But €40 for one motorhome and 2 people is clearly too expensive.

Wonderful campsite, spacious and well-grassed pitches, incredible view. Friendly and kind staff. The communal facilities are adequate, comfortable and well maintained. The only drawback, which the owners will probably fix soon, is that there is no oven in the communal kitchen and no laundry room. Highly recommended, including for longer stays.

We were here on May 26 and 27. The lady present said she would open the swimming pool, but unfortunately she did not. No washing machine either. Yet on the last morning she still wanted to charge €40 twice. No discussion possible. The place is beautiful, but the price is far too high, especially when not everything is available.

A very peaceful and tidy place with many surprises nearby. The Damascena ethnographic complex is also close and worth visiting.

For me this is the perfect site with lavender and rose smell. Pool is nice. My type of camping. The price still is 70 lev for family with 2 children

Well-maintained site and clean washrooms. We came through the gate at 9:30 p.m. and were the only ones there. I don't know why; it was fine. Hot water takes a little while in the shower. At 9:45 a.m. a calm, nice woman came, wrote down the license plate and name, and we paid 70 leva in cash. She is the receptionist. A little expensive if you are only sleeping here. If you stay longer and use electricity, the pool, pavilion, etc., it may be worthwhile.

Would recommend alrhough disappointed the pool was not open despite temperatures over 80° but site was peaceful, clean and had lovely kitchen pavilions and modern showers and loos. Expensive at €35 for campervan, 2 adults and dog but included electricity and drinling water. The Centre next door is well worth a look too although high entry fee.

Very well-equipped campsite. I recommend it for a weekend break. The price is a little high at 70 leva per night. There are very good gazebos that can accommodate about 3–4 families.

Good: Well situated for everything around Shipka. Large, flat pitches with electricity and water. Toilets/showers clean and appeared to be sufficient for the amount of campers there. Pool now open. Nighttime lighting good. BAD: electricity trips out easily, no grey waste dump and chemical waste dump is awful. Grounds need attention. Far too expensive for an unfinished site in Bulgaria.

For €35 I would have expected more. Only 2 toilets and showers each. Nice barbecue huts including wood. Pool was still out of operation. Beautiful lawns.

Very large, spacious pitches, very clean and orderly. €35 is expensive, but you are happy to pay it.

Excellent conditions for camping. Very green and well maintained. Large camping spots. A little expensive though.

Very nice site with good infrastructure. Pitches are very spacious. Hardly any shaded pitches and few toilets/showers. Many small bad-weather huts with kitchen equipment. €35 is not a bargain, but the site is worth it. Within walking distance of the Damascena Center.

Probably the most beautiful campsite in Bulgaria. Large pitches, electricity, water, nice showers and toilets. Various huts with barbecue areas, pool (still closed). Really excellent, but definitely too expensive. Fixed price all year round of €35 per camper. Too expensive for one person (for Bulgaria).

Enjoy the pool and hot tub in a dreamlike atmosphere with an incredible panorama! Unlike the coast, people here are friendly and helpful, making this a place that invites you to stay. The Buzludzha Monument is 40 minutes away by car and can easily be combined with a visit here!

Beautiful, well-maintained site. Large pitches. Nice communal areas and huts for bad weather. Excellent sanitary facilities. Meets Central European standards. Therefore the price is fair.
