74 Calle Barrio Bajero, Beratón
Been here?
A very quiet roadside wild spot at the entrance to Beratón, at 1400 m altitude. It is fairly flat and has a water fountain and wastebasket, but no shade. Several hiking trails start nearby, and the village has a bar. Winter access requires caution because of snow and ice.

Quiet place to sleep and go hiking; there is also a bar in the village. The overnight spot has a water fountain with a tap. The downside is that there is no shade, but because it is so high up, it stays cool.
Very quiet and peaceful. Has a water fountain
For nature lovers, a very quiet place at 1,400 m altitude with hiking trails starting nearby. You have to go up to the cemetery, 500 m away, via the access opposite the small roadside car park. There is a water tap in this car park, where cyclists fill up. Very small village, with 10 very friendly inhabitants among those we met. Walks with 360-degree views.
In winter, be careful: besides the possibility of encountering snow, take great care with ice on the road, especially in the shadier areas of the Beraton pass when coming from Purujosa.
