A small, quiet grassy area near the church, canal lock and a campsite with a snack bar. The restaurant mentioned in the original description has been closed for a long time. There are no services, and the public fountain water is not potable. The area is shaded by large trees, but the exact parking is unclear and may block passage for other vehicles.

We arrived in the evening in the rain and searched unsuccessfully for this supposedly existing parking area. The spot directly in front of the water fountain at the church would have blocked passage for other cars, and there were not really any other paved options. We therefore continued to Stenay. What a shame.
Small area near the church and canal with a lock, and near a campsite with a very interesting snack bar serving lunch and dinner.
