This wild spot has several parking areas along a dirt track, with more space further from the road and homes about half a mile away. Traffic noise is heard until about 10pm, then the far end of the track is much quieter. The track continues for a good mile towards town, and birds may be heard in the morning.

not to bad a stop. traffic u hear till about 10pm then it does quite a bit more. park at the end of the track as its quite. we did go through the gates right to the end. you can do this btw. its very quiet there except the birds u wake up to which is very nice. plenty of places to park
The only way that this place is quiet is if you are deaf and take your hearing aids out. Road noise all night. Did get less busy from 11pm, and started up again at 5am. It is level though… and far enough away to avoid turbulence. They are the only benefits.
good place for 1 night, go down the track and there is place to park. You hear the highway though.
Very busy road; this place serves as a dumping ground.
Very good spot, very quiet. Surrounded by nature, lovely ! Road more like a dirt track though.
There is lots of road beyond this spot; I parked about a kilometer down this lane.
The location is correct and does not direct you to a farm, just to a large flat widening of a dirt track. It was extremely quiet through the night, almost no vehicles but from about 8am onwards it’s like a motorway. Had a fantastic night’s sleep. Good spot.
Great spot on a public byway and no houses nearby - in morning walked dogs along the byway which is open to vehicles .
directions take you to a farm. I'm pretty sure the farmer would be quite annoyed if you camped on his farm without permission.
