Been here?
Henry’s Camp Site is a small, characterful campsite with planted pitches offering privacy, and some spaces have sea views. It has clean shower blocks and toilets, a farm with pigs, chickens, ducks and llamas, children’s play areas, and a shop selling local produce. The site has a relaxed, colourful atmosphere and a coastal path towards Lizard Point, while showers cost extra. Dogs are welcome, but weekend availability can be limited.

We really enjoyed it! Very beautiful landscaping. With a van, you can find lovely spots; with a tent, you can find truly enchanted ones, like in a magical world. The sanitary facilities are great, although it is a little unfortunate that you have to pay extra for showers. The communal areas are really original. The only thing that did not convince me was the small shed, which was not hygienic enough for me. Still, five stars!Translating
An original campsite with charming, somewhat hippie-style flair and a genuine feel-good atmosphere. The guests were consistently friendly and relaxed. The sanitary facilities were clean, though somewhat too limited in size. Showers cost extra, which is not entirely understandable given the already rather high overnight price. Overall, still a pleasant stay.Translating
Charming little campsite with a hippie flair on the edge of a village with small shops and pubs. The pitches are surrounded by bushes and trees, and some have sea views.Translating
Definitely a place for campers with a hippie vibe. Yes, it’s a bit more expensive, and yes, you have to pay for showers, but we thought the site was fantastic! Lots of color, wood, and a relaxed atmosphere, with your own benches and tables, including sunset views. Lots of animals to pet and plenty of little play areas for kids. We stayed longer than planned because it was simply great. Thanks for this cool place!Translating
Place close to Lizard Point, beaches, and walks. It really feels like camping. Small but pleasant pitches. The facilities are good. In high season, just enough for the number of visitors. Many things are or look rather makeshift, which actually makes the campsite charming. Playground and animals on site. Pizza three times a week. Fish and chips in the village. £45.50 per night for two adults and two children, without electricity. Shower £0.40 for three minutes.Translating
Looks like a vibey place. Though quite expensive plus an additional charge to hook up, plus shower. As I'm travelling not holidaying I felt it cost way too much.
First of all: People should be forbidden from rating places they have never visited. It really helps nobody! And those who rate Henry’s campsite with one star—I hope I never meet them. Just stay at home! This place is a must-see! It is perfectly imperfect here, in harmony with nature, people, and animals. Not suitable for yogurt pots and liners!!!Translating
We tried to register by email, but they replied that we should call. We called four times and reached an answering machine asking us to leave our phone number. No call back. We sent another email. When we arrived, we were told everything was full—that is always the case at weekends, even though it was Monday—and the office was unstaffed because they could only tell people that everything was full anyway.Translating
Very accommodating, we hadn't booked and they found a space for us at 7pm. Great atmosphere, very nicely designed and the facilities were top notch. This was all reflected in the price however, whopping £38.50 for one night with no electric.
The pitches are nicely designed, generally separated by hedges or similar. They are small by English standards, more like what you find in mainland Europe. The washroom is attractive, small for such a large site, and partly looks a little worn. The other facilities are recognizable as such only with a lot of goodwill; they look rather run-down. You could accept all that, but not for £38.50 without electricity.Translating
What a wonderful site, designed with so much love. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.Translating
You feel as though you have landed in the jungle in a hippie country. The sanitary facilities are very clean, and Henry is helpful with every request. Anyone looking for something unusual is completely in the right place here. For us it was a truly pleasant experience. We would return anytime. There is a sea view. Reasonably priced.Translating
Beautiful, relaxed campsite. Messy on arrival. Lovely views everywhere. Grass and artificial-grass surfaces. Toilets creatively laid out, reasonably clean, but it is annoying that the music is so loud in the toilet building that you can hear it on the camper pitches too. Chemical toilet disposal available. Small shop on site. Camper plus two people costs €47 including electricity. Expensive for what you get, and the shower costs extra too.Translating
I loved this spot. Henry was welcoming, he asked for £18.50 for just me in a very small camper. Toilets and showers (20p) were really nice. There's some communal seating areas with WiFi which was a nice touch and ducks roaming around ❤️. The best part though was the view from the pitch... stunning at sunset, and the walk to the coast doesn't take long and I saw ponies! Would stay again for sure.
Narrow access road. We were greeted unbelievably rudely by a woman. If the woman wanted to inspect the pitch, we had to get out immediately, without delay. The Wi-Fi “lounge” had collapsed. Bulky waste everywhere. Everything was falling apart. Dirty. It all looked as though a festival had taken place there 20 years ago and nobody had cleaned up afterward. Horrible. Some toilets were new, but dirty. Expensive.Translating
Stayed here for two nights. The site is rustic, and toilet/shower facilities are excellent. The owner is very friendly. A couple of good pubs nearby with friendly locals. Great location. Highly recommend.
photos of site slightly over sell. up side was facilitaties are definitely 5 star with hot 3min shower 40p also has washing machines and tumble dryer etc. toilet and washing lovely even if classic fm while showing slightly off putting. but the site was v tired and we even had dog poo on our pitch hence the 3 star. £28 for the night with electric.
Love this campsite. It's been running for many years as is evident by the buildings and trees. Lots of animals free ranging, including ducks and chickens. New toilets have just been installed. Nice easy walk to the Lizard Point, Lighthouse, and cliff views. It's definitely a site to return to.
It couldn’t be better. Location, style, hospitality, and sanitary facilities easily at four-star hotel level. So much to discover around it, with restaurants and Lizard Point within walking distance.Translating
It is a truly special place. Very large pitches and everything arranged with great care and a playful touch. My deduction applies exclusively to the owner, whom we never got to see. A sign explained that he had gone out for one hour. In the morning there was a note asking us to wait until 1 p.m. until he returned. £38.50 to be annoyed a little.Translating
beautiful and hippy campsite with fun activities for the kids. we spent only one night but looks like a place where to meet up with friends' families and spend more time together. lots of animals so a bit dirty, but the toilets and the dish/clothes cleaning areas are nice and clean
A different form of camping, very nice in our view. Lovingly designed, with level motorhome pitches, but limited in size. Anything much longer than 6.5 m, higher than 3.2 m, or wider than 2.3 m could be problematic. The overall package is reasonably priced; the shower costs 40 pence for three minutes, with classical music. Small shop available. Absolutely recommendable overall.Translating
If you’re looking for a site that’s a bit different and quirky then Henry’s is the place. Great site with fantastic pitches, especially the motorhome ones, it feels like a little bit of paradise when pitched. Located within Lizard village and close to walks. Highly recommend as it’s like no other site.
