Been here?
A quiet campsite in the Spreewald serving visitors to Tropical Island. A free, regular shuttle connects the campsite with the bathing paradise, and depending on the fare, entry is included. Booking and arrangements are handled at the swimming hall, while recent information reports adequate sanitary facilities and available water and waste services. A nearby railway station connects with Berlin, and Cargo Lifter Halle is close by.

Excellent parking area. Definitely good value for money.Translating
Small site, uncomplicated booking, sanitary facilities okay, all service facilities available. Negative: No staff on site; everything has to be arranged in the swimming hall. Positive: Everything is very easy even without staff. Big advantage: Free, regular shuttle to the swimming hall and train station, plus admission to the tourist information center included, saving a great deal of money. We have already stayed here several times.Translating
Great for visiting Tropical Islands. Recommended. When you factor in the entrance and parking costs, two nights at the campsite come out at the price of one day…Translating
Probably the cheapest way to visit Tropical Islands. A standard pitch with free admission is much cheaper than a day ticket. The site itself is beautifully situated and could be really good with better maintenance. Sanitary facilities are moderately clean and partly in need of renovation. Pitches are poorly signposted. Chaos during check-in; our pitch was occupied and there were no staff on site.Translating
We stayed 1 night in the campsite and another in the car park. We only booked the night before arrival and there was plenty of availability. The campsite booking was about €40 more than a single day entry to tropical islands but gave us 2 days unlimited access to the pools. The park up was €7 for 24 hours. The campsite shower block had family bathrooms, laundry facilities and was very clean
We spontaneously booked for two nights. There were fewer than ten vehicles on the site. Nevertheless, we were assigned a relatively narrow pitch between two other camping vehicles. Since a small tree stood directly in front of our pitch, parking was challenging. The electricity post was about 15 meters away. Facilities for emptying grey water and toilets were available.Translating
Always happy to return. Great value for money! €160 for two nights with two adults and two young children, including admission. Be sure to use online check-in and you will receive the wristbands from the machine within seconds. You can already enter the pitch at 8 a.m. We changed pitches without any problems to one with a closer electrical connection. Very kind and helpful staff.Translating
A reasonable campsite where the campervan stood on dry grass. Of course, the disadvantage is that you have to book two days with a Tropical Islands visit for €229. But you can also stay on an asphalted pitch for €7 for 24 hours without visiting Tropical Islands.Translating
Positive: Clean toilets. Free shuttle bus twice an hour. Negative: - Check-in at Tropical Islands. Waiting time on a Friday at 5 p.m.: 1.5 to 2 hours! - Officially, motorhomes are not allowed to enter. - Pitch inaccessible. The site manager refers you to customer complaints management. - No information; unreachable by phone. - Very muddy.Translating
This place can only be booked for at least two nights. Admission to Tropical Islands is included in the price, so in the off-season it came to €251 for two people. Unfortunately, there is only one electricity post per eight pitches, meaning you need a lot of cable. We are about 60 meters from the nearest electricity post, for example; this could be improved.Translating
So, we loved TI and the camp in general fine (but a bit dated). Had a lot of technical difficulties booking online and when we called no one spoke English. I would not mind the language barrier in smaller places but this big of an establishment should do better both at the booking office and in the park. Lack of toilet paper in the camp multiple times.
Nice campsite. Lots for the children. It can only be booked in combination with Tropical Island, which is also described that way on their website. Value for money (including admission) is excellent! Downside: The laundry-house cleaning could be done more often. Be careful with the bus, as it may drive past full during peak times. A higher frequency (instead of every 30 minutes) would be advisable.Translating
It is merely a site with a dusty surface. Unfortunately, the washing machines do not work properly, and the water supply is not ideal either. The water filter was clogged several times by particles from the pipes. The electricity pedestals were also poorly positioned.Translating
Fully equipped campsite, with good value for money since admission to Tropical Islands is included in the camping fee. We were here with our dog and there are places to walk him. Shop open with an adequate selection. The bus leaves approximately every 30 minutes to and from Tropical Islands.Translating
Perfect for spending a few lovely days at Tropical Island. Great value, as admission is included in the pitch fee. The site was clean, and the facilities (bathroom, toilet, kitchen, washing-up area, laundry, etc.) were completely adequate and clean. In winter, water is available only at the service building, but this is no problem. We would be happy to return for another trip to the tropics.Translating
