Friendly, relatively new campsite about 20 minutes from Granada, set in natural surroundings with panoramic Lecrín Valley views. It offers spacious, level pitches, a clean sanitary block, a pool, restaurant and small shop. The site is near a main road, though recent guests generally found it peaceful. A recent price was 31€ without electricity for 2 people.

Super friendly staff and an excellent, clean place! Definitely recommend!
Excellent service at a relatively new campsite. Very good attention and close to the village. The pool is impeccable; 100% recommended. Affordable restaurant.
A nice, relatively new campsite with genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant and a lovely pool. There’s no playground for kids, water is not available on every pitch, and the major issue is the long‑neglected bushes, trees, and weeds. However, it’s a great base for visiting Granada by car.
Excellent, clean, tidy campsite. I came at the end of winter and now at the beginning of summer; the pool and social area are greatly appreciated. There is a restaurant where you eat very well, and the managers are always attentive and willing to help. Well located, 20 minutes from Granada and 30 minutes from the beaches.
A very pleasant campsite for spending a few days. The bathrooms, pools, and communal areas are very well maintained. Very friendly staff. There is a restaurant and a small shop with some products, although the variety is limited.
Very nice campsite, clean sanitary facilities, and friendly operators.
Super welcome and extremely kind; they speak a little French. A haven of peace with a very beautiful landscape. We will come back. €31 without electricity for two people.
What a lovely little campsite, with a good restaurant—the burgers deserve five stars—and a cozy, informal atmosphere. It is close to the main road, but this did not bother us. Nice swimming pool and beautiful, brand-new, spotless sanitary facilities with wonderful showers. In short, five stars! If you are passing through, definitely don’t skip it.
A wonderful campsite. I can only strongly agree with the previous reviews. During my trip through southwestern Europe, it was the most beautiful campsite. It is ideally suited for hiking in the Sierra Nevada. The Mediterranean and Granada can be reached in half an hour. You can end the day on the restaurant terrace with a glass of wine while watching the sunset. There will certainly be two of us.
Excellent campsite, very friendly welcome, clean sanitary facilities, beautiful pool, and a pleasant restaurant—we had several tapas—with a lovely view.
A very beautiful campsite with exceptionally clean sanitary facilities. The pitches are flat and spacious. The managers at reception are very friendly, helpful, and always smiling. I highly recommend it. We spent two nights there to rest, and we really did rest.
From the first minute, Eloy made us feel at home. He is a wonderful guy who treated us brilliantly throughout our stay. The campsite is lovely, clean, and everything is very new. We had some beers and dinner at their restaurant, and it was a magical experience, enjoying the sunset and a good meal. Many thanks also to Edu, a guy from Lleida who now lives in Andalusia!
This campsite is a jewel. It has everything you could wish for. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful. There is a bus to Granada, a supermarket nearby, a restaurant on site, and a pool. A heartfelt thank-you for this wonderful place that Eduardo and his wife have created. We would give it even more stars.
Clean sanitary facilities with very large, spacious showers. Not much shade at the pitch. Very friendly welcome. We paid €28 for two people and a dog.
Sorry guys but this is not a 5 star review. Yes everything is new and clean and yes the manager is a nice guy but pitches are just ok size, location is next to the motorway so you can hear this including lots of crazy barking dogs from surrounding houses and we had the unlucky evening when a neighbouring house started to burn his garden waste so we were covered in ash
Recently built campsite, everything very new and clean, very welcoming. Most pitches are spacious and well leveled, with good separation. All services are very new and in excellent condition: toilets, showers, black- and gray-water disposal, fresh-water filling, washing machine and dryer, restaurant, and pool. Very friendly staff. All pitches have electricity, optionally.
Beautiful new campsite with spotless modern facilities and an excellent restaurant. Piscina closed as low season but looks lovely. Fantastic staff: without exception they have been unusually helpful and smiley-nothing is too much trouble. I arrived with a knee injury needing rest from driving for few days. Eloy insisted on taking me to the medical centre-thank you. Highly recommended. Will return.
Very nice campsite located 30 minutes from Granada. Basic pitches are €15, with XL pitches also available, plus €5 per person and another €3 for a dog. A little expensive for staying several nights, but it allows you to recharge your batteries! The facilities are very clean, especially the sanitary facilities.
Great little campsite! Very friendly welcome from the manager! Very clean and well-equipped sanitary facilities. Functional and very accessible service area. We only stayed one night, but it allowed us to recharge our batteries before continuing our journey! Thank you!
A lovely site. Nice bar/restaurant with a sunny terrace overlooking the valley. The locals use it as well. Good walks nearby. Walking distance into Durcal. Good supermarkets a short cycle away and a smaller supermarket and bakery a 5 min walk. Lovely staff.
It is really difficult not to give this place five stars, so that is what I am doing. Everything is simply right: the pitches, the sanitary facilities, and the restaurant is excellent too. We can easily imagine staying here again on our next visit to Granada.
We liked the site incredibly much. Everything is available to recharge your batteries for the onward journey. The location is perfect for exploring the southern Sierra Nevada. Thank you for the wonderful evenings with the great view and dreamlike sunsets on the terrace. The food is carefully selected, very healthy, and affordable. A place where everything feels easy.
Very good campsite for visiting Granada, the Sierra Nevada, the Alpujarra, etc. We stayed during Holy Week in a motorhome. Restaurant with delicious food. Good sanitary facilities. Good gray- and black-water disposal and filling area. Excellent attention from the managers. Highly recommended campsite. Thank you, Base Camp Granada.
Recommended; the campsite is very nice. The facilities are new, and the bathrooms and showers are spacious and very clean. There is a restaurant inside that delights the palate and brightens the evenings. The manager, Edoardo, and his staff are incredibly kind and hospitable.
We give it 10 out of 5 stars ;) After two nights we extended our stay to nine nights. A quiet, uncomplicated place with the committed and easygoing operators Eloy, Eduardo, and their families. Unbeatable hospitality, including at the very tasty restaurant. We were impressed by the large, always clean showers and toilets. And Eduardo—with every orange, we think of you :)
Highly recommended. The service and treatment are a 10 out of 10. The guy who runs it is extremely friendly and helpful; you can tell he enjoys it and does it with passion. The facilities are amazing, everything is brand new, and the pitches are huge. There is a pool and a restaurant where the food is delicious. If I pass through here again, I would return. It is also just 20 minutes by car from central Granada.
An absolutely top-class campsite. Eduardo, the owner, and his entire team are incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. The site is beautifully laid out and everything is perfectly clean. The restaurant/café offers really delicious food at very fair prices. We will definitely come back.
Small, new, and very beautiful campsite. Immaculate facilities and spacious pitches. Very friendly owner. We spent one night there because we were touring Granada, but we would definitely return. We missed having a playground for the children, although they told us they would have one soon. Very good value for money.
What a beautiful campsite, everything neat and tidy, large, clean, level pitches, clean sanitary facilities, large showers, and very friendly and helpful owners. Yes, there are quite a lot of barking dogs, including at night, but the manager cannot do anything about that. The price is excellent too; we were there during the weekend of March 20, in the low season. Certainly a reason to come back.
A wonderful place with an extremely friendly operator and staff, offering every kind of help and advice. We only wanted to stay two nights, but that has now become more than a week. We can fully confirm the older comments and information. We particularly want to highlight the huge shower cubicles with equally large changing areas, including a bench. Super comfortable.
Positive: beautiful site, friendly staff, spotlessly clean, hairdryer available, excellent waste and water facilities, and a restaurant. Negative: the shower room is freezing cold; the upper window is open, and if someone leaves the door open, there is a draft and it gets even colder. On the first day the shower water was warm; on the second day it was almost cold. The disabled shower/toilet door is warped and cannot be closed. Therefore, only two showers/toilets are usable.
We spent three nights at Base Camp. The operator Eduardo and his family are amazing; everything was perfect from arrival to departure, and the restaurant is excellent too. All facilities are new, high-quality, and designed with care. We will be back :-)
