Been here?
Recently opened motorhome area beside a quiet road and a river, with beautiful surroundings and some shaded places. It provides drinking water, waste disposal, rubbish bins, picnic tables and benches, while some pitches require wheel chocks. A village is about 10 minutes away on foot and traditional restaurants are around 900 m away; approach from the north via Caldevilla should be avoided.

Two quiet nights beside a lightly trafficked road. What is particularly nice is that there is access to the river a little further down, after crossing the bridge, and it was wonderful to swim in the water after a hike... the children were delighted.
Nice spot right by road but totally quiet, except river sounds. Only one car with us on Saturday night. We got there from north by N625 by Google maps with no problem. Lots of shade, drinkable water, picnic tables, dumping station.
I agree with the last review; this is a great spot. I like that the drinking water tap is completely separate from the cassette rinsing tap. We approached from the East, from the N625. This is a good, easy road, not steep or narrow. (Even though our SatNav would not choose it?!?)
Nice overnight pitch without electricity, but with fresh water, wastewater disposal, rubbish bins, tables and benches. Slightly sloping, but no problem. The nearby road is very quiet at night. The restaurant 900 m away is simple but has a very good cheese and ham platter. Super. Highly recommended.
Very nice place, spacious spots and only 10 minutes walk from a small nearby village.
Very small and very uneven pitches. Drinking water and grey and black water disposal are quite adequate. You are very isolated, beside the road. Nevertheless, we slept very peacefully. Oh, and there is no coverage.
Great place! A little beside the road, but it has very little traffic; we were lulled by the sound of the river flowing just behind! We went to the little bar five minutes away on foot and enjoyed ourselves (very good cider and charcuterie platter). There is a place to fill up with water and empty waste, as well as rubbish bins!
Be really careful with the route you yake from the north !!! i followed waze and ended up totally stranded on a mountain road, had to be towed by a neighbor with a tractor. you should not pass caldevilla !!
Thanks for the pitch! And also for a proper water tap without a push button! Unfortunately, the toilet drain is completely blocked and is overflowing, which causes a strong smell of urine and feces! I tried to repair it, but it is impossible. A professional needs to come here!
We stayed one night. The place is pleasant, with a picnic area and washing facilities, but the disposal points are not working; they are completely blocked.
We could not stop because it was very hot and there were no shaded spaces. We wanted to discharge, but the drain was full to the top and could not be used. A shame, because the place is beautiful.
You can empty grey water, clean the toilet cassette and fill up with water. There is also a fountain. Little or no mobile coverage. The area is near Cangas de Onís, beside a road and next to the village of Sellano, alongside the Ponga River. A great place to spend the night. I would like to thank the local council for the area.
Free area with fresh-water supply and grey and black water disposal. Sloping pitches. Only two pitches for large motorhomes; the rest are for campers or medium-sized motorhomes. You sleep wonderfully because you can hear the river and there is almost no traffic on the nearby road. Thanks to the local council.
Stopped for water and services. It was early in the day, weather was not good so didn't have any good reason to stay longer. No internet !
Lovely quiet parking lot, with water and waste facilities. Close drive down to the town of Cangas. A couple mall pubs/restaurants nearby although we didn’t visit them. Nice quiet stay for a couple of nights the natural park. A little uneven in some spots so would recommend levellers. 72 hours max stay.
Very nice place created here by the municipality for campers, even with fresh and grey water. Anyone looking for an enchanted valley and untouched nature, completely away from mass tourism, is in the right place here. No internet, but that is how it should be here.
Wonderful location, very clean, very quiet, a joy to have no mobile coverage. parking bays are small and not level. we took 2 spaces for our 9m long vehicle, but it was quiet and no one else was there. no easy walks from site, but beautiful scenes.
Lovely place; we had a peaceful night listening to the stream. Service area working well.
Spent a quiet night. No signal. Levelling blocks are necessary because of the sloping parking area. I was there together with two other campers.
Good stopping place. Levelling blocks are needed. No lighting (on clear nights the sky is beautiful). In August, arrive before 7 p.m. because it fills up. The spectacular fabada next door at Casa Ricardo is highly recommended. However, there is zero coverage in the area. Thanks to the local council. Let’s leave it as clean as we would like to find it if we want more places like this.
There is no mobile coverage; it is in a hollow surrounded by mountains. Unless you are going climbing or just passing through, I would not recommend it.
Great spot to stop over before going to natural park Pongo. No really leveled, but managable. You can have a swimm down in the river. We had a good sleep.
Excellent quiet place with no access problems for a 7 m vehicle. Not all spaces are completely regular, but it is comfortable and not crowded. Beautiful scenery; you can hear the river from the area.
Very nice. We had a very good lunch at Casa Ricardo, at a good price. Many thanks to the local council.
Very quiet area with services except electricity. However, amateur drivers should especially not take the route when coming from Oviedo. Go as far as Cangas de Onís; the road is much easier.
A beautiful aire, so peaceful the sound of the river and the owls at night! The setting is super. Services are good and there are picnic benches lovely to be able to sit out. The village is small but well equipped with bar and restaurant. The Bar has wifi - there is no mobile stay at the site, service as previously mentioned.
