This large cemetery parking area above Milazzo is slightly sloped and can accommodate campers up to 7.50 metres in the white spaces parallel to the cemetery. Despite the previous review, we tried our luck. We arrived around 9 p.m. The night was quiet, but cars began passing from 7 a.m. We left quite early, around 8 a.m.
Unfortunately, spending the night in a camper is prohibited throughout the city of Milazzo. At 8:30 p.m. the police asked us to move on.
A little sloped, but you sleep wonderfully.
Good place in Milazzo, just slightly sloped and fairly full of locals on weekends or holidays. It is relatively quiet during the day and at night despite the rough road. Otherwise, there are only a few cats around.
Excellent parking, also suitable for motorhomes up to 7.5 m like ours. You can park in the white spaces parallel to the cemetery because the angled white spaces are too short.
Thank you for sharing this. Quiet parking at night. Good for visiting the city. To top it off, there are toilets at the cemetery accessible during the day during opening hours. Very brightly lit.
It is certainly a strategic place to stay, quiet and everything, but the problem is that there is not a breath of air and we nearly died of the heat.
I slept there for two nights, one of them very, very noisy, with cars passing constantly throughout the night. To take the ferry, it is more than two kilometers away, which is a lot even for a good walker, since the Aeolian Islands are visited on foot. Very busy from 7 a.m. because of the cemetery. On the other hand, an excellent location for visiting Milazzo Castle.
Perfect for one night with an early ferry in the morning. Absolute quiet at night. However, when cars pass, it is already loud because of the cobblestones. But not a single car passed during the night. The place serves its purpose, but it is not somewhere to stay for a longer period.
Very quiet parking, slightly sloped but nothing dramatic; you sleep well anyway. On the road to Capo Milazzo, an excellent spot for us after getting off the Aeolian ferry late. There are no signs restricting overnight parking.
we were too late for the camper area and really didn't want to sleep near the port, which was full of people and cars at 10pm. this was quiet, just a couple of cars overnight, although the cemetery open at 6am. fine for an early ferry.
Had a peaceful night here, was alone, undisturbed. Almost no cars at night, very quiet. Stunning sunrise spot within 1 minute walk. IMPORTANT: only small campers. My 4.95m only just about fit.
I confirm the previous reviews: it is not ideal for the night because the road surface is noisy, but there is not that much traffic. Excellent for visiting the city or taking the ferry to the Aeolian Islands, 15 minutes on foot.
