Been here?
This is a remote ten-place parking area at the end of a narrow gravel road, surrounded by nature and suitable for hiking. The walks to Hugakollen and Bite lake each take 1:30, and the area has views with sounds of water and birds. The toll is currently 60 NOK, and there are no services. A large cow recently prevented a camper from staying and reversing away.

don't stay here unless you're mad enough to take on a massive cow, we left after 2 minutes as this cow was not going to let us stay. even blocked out camper from reversing off
A wonderful, secluded place. We really enjoyed the nature here. The climb to the summit is quite strenuous at the end, so be aware of that and wear good footwear. The only downside is that paying the toll is somewhat complicated, hence only four stars. Otherwise, absolutely recommended for nature lovers.
If you like pure Norway, you’ll love this place! The toll is currently 60 NOK... Please keep the parking area clean... Peace, views, hiking.
Toll at the bottom: put cash in the envelopes provided and drop them into the slot inside the box (write your license plate and name on it, tear off the receipt and place it on the windshield). The other payment methods described there seem to work only for Norwegians (app/SMS). Narrow gravel road; we drove up in a 6-meter panel van. We were alone there.
Nice place to sleep. The gravel road uphill is very narrow if someone is coming the other way. I wouldn’t necessarily drive up with large motorhomes. At the end of the road there is a wildlife enclosure at the river crossing, but it can easily be opened. At the entrance to the gravel road below, there is a sign explaining how to pay the toll.
Beautiful place to spend the night.
