Route de Piccovagia, 20137, Porto-Vecchio
Been here?
A large campsite with pitches, chalets, a swimming pool, bar, hot-water bathrooms, and paid Wi-Fi. The terrain is uneven and poorly maintained, and recent reports describe the sanitary facilities as unhygienic, dirty, broken, or non-functional. Mosquitoes are numerous, and parties can create very loud noise until 2h or later. A recent stay for a van and two people cost 18 euros for one night.

Completely run-down. The sanitary facilities are extremely unhygienic, dirty and broken. The electrical boxes have standard plug connections, and the fuse often blows. Okay for one night, but borderline.
Camping not suitable for campervans: dirt and uneven ground, very poorly maintained, and the sanitary facilities are not functional.
We spent one night here in a van. Satisfactory for one night. We paid 18 euros for one night in the van for two people.
Warm welcome, but a very restless night. We spent one night in mid-September during the week (Wednesday), expecting to enjoy the peace of the off-season. Unfortunately, the campsite was hosting a party, with music until 2 a.m., followed by partygoers making noise until 3 a.m. We would have appreciated being informed of this event before paying for the pitch.
The welcome was decent when we arrived around 7 p.m.… which is worth one star. This campsite could be nice, but we were 100 m from the bar/pool and couldn’t fall asleep until 2 a.m. because the music was so loud. Infested with mosquitoes. Abandoned car wrecks on pitches… stray dogs… people wandering around from who knows where… not very reassuring. Avoid!
Small, quiet campsite despite being close to the road. Good pitch! Fair price. Excellent pool with loungers! The showers are decent, but the facilities should be cleaned more often…
It is a well-located campsite for visiting Porto-Vecchio. The facilities leave a little to be desired, but I still recommend it. You can choose where to camp; not all spots have shade. Above all, be prepared for mosquitoes.
We stayed here in July 2025 with our rooftop tent. From this campsite, you can reach many beautiful beaches. Unfortunately, the toilets and showers are very outdated and not particularly clean. The welcome was very good! The owner speaks English, French, and Italian. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case with the other staff. Power connections are very basic. However, okay for this price.
We stayed only one night in the pre-season. The shower and toilets and all other facilities where clean and freshly painted. Unfortunately the camping ground was full of mosquitos and we therefore recommend to bring protection.Minus two stars because the grass was super high and the park not very well serviced. Some areas where closed with barrier tape. could hear some car noise from the street.
Run-down campsite, undefined pitches, and old caravans that stay year-round… the facilities are old but clean. €24.70… we were the only two motorhomes on the site… good for one night… The restaurant is good, €11 per meal. 4 km from the citadel of Porto-Vecchio; no problem parking, with a small car park near the ferries.
Officially open from April 6. However, we were turned away on April 10 because the sanitary facilities were not yet open. Large campers/self-sufficient vehicles were already allowed to stay. The woman was very friendly, though, and recommended another campsite to us.
Really great campsite. We have a very large van and had no problems; the pitches are spacious. The nightly price is very reasonable at €18, compared with the two “parking areas” farther up at Palombaggia—admittedly €4 cheaper, but here you have sanitary facilities, a pool, bar, and restaurant. There are some very enjoyable evening events, and the owners are adorable! We really recommend it!!!
Great potential (unpaved pitches, lots of shade). Good location for beaches and the city, but it is not by the sea. Poor lighting, few power points with enough voltage for an electric cooker, far too many mosquitoes, and old but clean bathrooms. The owners were unhelpful and gruff. Music until late once or twice a week.
Run away!! Squatted campsite, not very safe. Very poorly maintained. No electricity in the sanitary facilities! We were supposed to stay two nights but left.
Actually a nice site, with clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities and friendly staff. The nearby road is clearly audible (some people may not mind that), but beware! The pool is integrated into a bar open to the general public, not just campers. There is music there every day from the afternoon until night, sometimes louder and sometimes quieter. Hence only 3 points. What a shame.
Open pitches, often badly damaged. You can’t get out because the place is infested with very aggressive mosquitoes. We had to endure extremely loud music from 8 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. We had paid around twenty euros to rest, but that failed too. At the very least, we would have liked to be warned when registering at reception. Our worst campsite. Keep moving.
