Leather & Lace

Stayed here last Friday and what a cracking place for a stopover. The bar is quirky and the owners super friendly. We had a meal which was amazing and so huge! It was pretty lively but that suited us and it got quiet around 11 and not a sound after that.

Friendly welcome, a good variety of beers. Water available, really a good option!

Now called The Lace Cafe. Monday night is Bike night, loads of motor bikes turn up at 5pm and then leave a couple of hours later, no bother at all, quite entertaining to watch. We didn't eat just had a couple of drinks in the bar.

Unremarkable from the outside—but once you go in, wow!! And the garden too. Welcome to another world. We spent the night in the parking area. It was also easy to walk the dog. Just go through the metal gates.

Got caught a bit short at 2130 on a very wet Sunday evening for somewhere to stop. This pub was closed but they very kindly allowed me stay in the car park when I rang. Excellent!

Wow, what a quirky place. Very friendly staff happy for us to stay over in carpark. I had the best ever Hunter's Chicken and hubby had tasty Miss Piggy burger. Tiki the parrot entertained us and log burner warmed us. The 'pub's own' cider was yummy. The outside (24hrs) toilet was basic but clean. In the morning, we had coffees at the attached Saloon.

we stayed at the leather and lace pub on friday 27th December, very welcoming owners who were happy for us to stay in our small motorhome, popped in for a meal drinks,excellent food and at very reasonable price too,definitely recommend. we emailed them in advance and had a prompt reply.

Highly recommended great service fabulous food reasonably priced. Lovely quirky pub would give more stars if I could. Services now include toilet as well as water. ??????
