Quiet reservoir site, paid fresh water

Stopped for one night. Lovely walk around the reservoir with the dogs. Dedicated motorhome area. Locals come here to swim, so there are lots of cars during the day. On the other side and in the middle of the car park, signs said no caravans, but people ignore them and use the motorhome spot anyway.✦Translating

At the beginning of October, all services were still available. Attention: the toilet disposal is directly at the service pillar, not the drain in the street. Fresh water costs money and requires coins. Very clean, free toilets, very well maintained. Please treat them carefully so they stay that way!✦Translating

Really great motorhome site; I have been here several times and always enjoy returning. A request to fellow campers: when the bin is full, it is full! Don't throw your rubbish next to it!! The site borders a forest, and the rubbish attracts animals that tear it open and spread it around—that needn't happen. Please behave normally again.✦Translating

Very nice place. Gravel surface. Quiet and silent at night. Beautiful swimmable little lake nearby with a Kneipp trail. You pay €5. The water-filling facility was working poorly.✦Translating

A nice site, perfectly marked by the municipality with electricity pillars and posts. We are annoyed by inconsiderate motorhome users: to our left, gray water was dumped into or beside a full bowl; to our right, despite the site being busy, two pitches were occupied with tables, loungers, a barbecue and more, as if it were a campsite.✦Translating

Very nice area and the site is large enough. At one end there are pitches with electricity, but we parked our van under the trees. The reservoir invites you to cool off, and the toilets are clean and open from 7 a.m. The only downside is dust when it stays dry for a long time. Easy to pay via Parkster.✦Translating

A great motorhome site. We stayed quietly for two nights. We arrived late on a public holiday and still found a place. During the day, you can set off directly from the site on hikes or swim in the lake. An ice-cream van also comes by occasionally. The price is excellent! Thank you to the municipality.✦Translating

Water and waste services work; waste disposal is often blocked by parked vehicles in the afternoon, so it is hard to find—it is at the entrance to the parking area. A beautiful motorhome site by the reservoir near Obernheim. It lies in the middle of nature beside a small reservoir where you can swim in summer. Hiking and cycling trails are available. Space for eight to ten motorhomes. Water and waste disposal are available alongside electrical hookups. During our stay (April 28–30, 2025), the prices were as described above. We stayed here from Thursday to Friday over Father's Day, and all regular pitches were occupied. So the site is well used. Fresh water and wastewater points are separate on the parking area, which works fine. Electricity costs €1 for 4 hours, but we didn't use it. All in all, fairly quiet. It will probably be very busy during the swimming season. We would still come back.✦Translating

Beautifully located parking/camper site at the foot of the dam of a small reservoir. According to the notice, the water quality is good for swimming. We used it for a refreshing dip in early October 2023. We highly recommend it, as water and waste disposal are also straightforward.✦Translating

Very beautiful and cozy site. We felt very comfortable here. The reservoir is up a small hill, reachable in 2 minutes on foot. Very rural, surrounded by forest and meadows. In the morning, the sun takes a while to rise over the hill. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset over the reservoir. We would gladly come back.✦Translating

It would be a great place if it weren't for the hippies in tents and the unfortunately drunk people in old caravans, who harass others and party inconsiderately until late at night! Apparently nobody checks who settles here. What a shame! We fled during the night because it was too antisocial for us.✦Translating
