Free, slightly uphill parking dedicated to the Foibe Mausoleum in Basovizza. It is flat, very quiet and surrounded by nature, with no services. Overnight stays are possible, and the area feels isolated; some travellers found it unsettling when alone. Dogs can be walked nearby.

A pleasant little spot for a lunchtime break, with children's play equipment and bins available. There is also a water point by the playground.
What a delight! PERFECT spot in the middle of nature. We are alone and isolated, with only a few walkers—two in one morning. For those who like being close to others, there are plenty of parking areas where motorhomes are packed together. Perfect if you are afraid of isolation. We recommend this place; please respect nature and pick up your rubbish.
The place is calm and flat, but very isolated. After reading the reviews of the spot just a few hundred metres south of this one, we did not feel safe here and continued on.
We stayed for one night. Very quiet, with no services. A little scary to stay alone, but fine for just one night.
Great spot for spending the night. We spent a very peaceful night there. In the evening, the police passed by and waved to us: no problem staying overnight.
