32 Via San Pietro, 08020, Galtellì
Been here?
Daytime camper parking at the top of Galtellì, with a pleasant view and several spaces. The approach is wide but very steep, and the parking area is sloped. Free water is available at the adjacent cemetery. Overnight stays are prohibited, and police have required campers to leave.

Ideal for a lunch stop. Thanks for the free water point. Very steep ground.
Good evening, overnight stays are prohibited—for our safety, apparently. The police have just moved us on; it is 10 p.m. The parking area is only for daytime use.
A very beautiful, quiet place with a great view. The camper pitches are apparently on the upper level, slightly sloping, but no problem with the usual leveling blocks. Water is available at the adjacent cemetery. Thanks to the municipality, unlike camper-unfriendly Orosei.
Easy access, several spaces. Parking permitted for campers, sign at the entrance; difficult to find anything else.
The campers are welcome. The Last side of the road is very high, better to come from the mainly road. I did with a 5,60 metres camper Fiat Ducato 1.9 no Turbo 1992y old. The only flat park is in front of the entry (4 places). We Were alone all Time. We refill the tank water in the cemetary. The old village is nice to visit and there are some trekking. The mountain View is amazing.
Spacious and very quiet parking areas, slightly sloping, with very kind residents. Follow the main road and then the “P camper” sign (San Pietro church/cemetery). The final stretch is uphill, but if a 1978 Ford Transit managed it, I think everyone can. The cemetery caretaker gave us permission to fill our water from the fountain on the right as you enter. I recommend it.
Wide but very steep access. No space is level. It might suit small vehicles, but even then. Not recommended.
Calm parking area for the night, nice view - In case you miss some of your belongings, like your shoes, the next day: there's a dog hiding it in the cemetery area ;)
A really great free place, rare in this region! Slightly sloping, but not too much. The lowest row of parking spaces seems the most level. Right next to the cemetery, which may bother some people but did not bother us. Delicious pizza at a fair price in town, and a starting point for hikes into the mountains. Water available at the cemetery.
I walked the route to check it out. No obstacles. I drove up with my 7-meter motorhome in first gear to the highest parking terrace, where the slope is gentlest. Go via Nonnu Marras; elsewhere the streets are too narrow. Pretty village, well promoted by the tourism team. Good restaurant: ristorantesacantina.
Steep road to the site, vehicles parked on both side. Antisocial parking made it so narrow I had to reverse the whole way back to the main road. This was just with a standard Ducato van, not an extra wide or long vehicle.
Somewhat steep approach and the place is slightly sloping. Lots of space. Slept well and peacefully. Delicious pizza from Crazy Pizza. Starting point for the hike to Tuttavista. Recommended.
