Been here?
A beautiful wild spot at the end of a dead-end road, beside the water with swimming access, a fire place, barbecue shelter, dry toilet, and rubbish bin. The gravel area is stable and spacious, with room for about five motorhomes, though access is somewhat narrow. The road can be heard but has little traffic at night. Mosquitoes are extremely numerous in summer, and the toilet is nearly full.

A great place—but only during mosquito-free periods. We left at night because mosquitoes managed to get inside despite the windows being closed, and a million were waiting outside. You cannot leave the camper. Even the truly wonderful surroundings do not help. What a shame.
nice place, but a lottttttt of mosqitos.
Really beautiful place with possibly to swim. Place for bonfire, decent outhouse (almost full though!), and trashcan. quite lot of space. If you stay here, take some firewood and mosquito poison with you, there are ALOT of mosquitos
Beautiful place. But we left in the middle of the night because there were so many mosquitoes that they were even all inside our van while everything was closed!
Very peaceful; there were three motorhomes. Stable gravel surface. Dry toilet and barbecue area. Beautiful view of the river.
This is one of the most beautiful places on our tour. It is a shame we were so early in the season, so the water was too cold for swimming. You could spend a whole day here. Good space for five vehicles.
Wonderful place; yesterday evening we saw a moose cow with her two young and the northern lights. Keep the place clean and respect the neighbors.
LOVED this spot! The sunset and sunrise were amazing. You do hear the road, but there is almost no traffic at night. There's a Kota, a trash bin, and a toilet. And very easy access to the water. Please respect nature and stay away from the bird houses.
We spent a very pleasant night here; I even spotted moose on the opposite shore of the lake. The access is narrow but manageable even with a fairly wide motorhome, with no height issues. You can hear the road a little, but it is acceptable.
Basically a wonderfully beautiful place, but when instead of one or two campers there are eight crowding into the small area, overflowing the rubbish bin, blocking the entrance to the fire hut so locals can no longer use it, and thoughtlessly letting the dog poop everywhere, the idyllic atmosphere is gone. What a shame!
Nice spot. Private and quiet, 100m from main road so you can’t hear the cars passing by. Easy to turn around and good gravelled road. A nice place to barbecue.
