This is a daytime parking area between two tombs, beside some of the best walks in Merlin Forest. Parking is prohibited from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., and the restriction is enforced by eco-guards. The setting is calm and offers several hiking routes, although it can be busy with families at weekends. The area is better suited to smaller vehicles.

Lovely place, but now forbidden from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. We could rest and admire the stars. The eco-wardens check the area. What a shame. We moved to the motorhome parking at the stadium, but it was not the same experience.
