Been here?
Beach campsite located next to Pilat dune with direct dune access. Rebuilt after fire damage that destroyed surrounding pines and trees, leaving poor ground quality. Offers a pool, clean toilets, and shower facilities; pitches are assigned. Does not accept campervans over 7 metres. Pricing approximately €50 for a 2-adult, 2-child campervan. Overnight celebrations can generate noise; garbage disposal incurs additional fees.

Nice Camp. Location is Top just newt dune. You can reach duna straight from camp. Swiming pool is good. Not much shadows place but just for night and visit dunas is great. Price for camper 2 adult and 2 children around 50€
Absolutely wonderful location. Partygoers celebrate all night and nobody cares about maintaining the quiet at night. Spaces are assigned in such a way that the neighbor has to drive across your own pitch. Sanitary facilities were OK and the reception staff were friendly. For waste disposal, you always have to walk to the entrance, sometimes 500 to 800 m. Well-stocked supermarket and restaurant available.
According to the posted notice, there are no pitches available.
Campsite is closed.
According to the operator MS Vacances, which took over the campsite in 2024, the campsite will remain closed for at least the entire 2025 season due to a construction stoppage imposed by the authorities. They are working on a solution with the authorities so that they can reopen after all.
Still closed—the buildings are partly still unfinished.
The campsite is currently closed for renovations. We were here on May 24, 2025; it was not possible to determine when it would reopen.
We stayed here for one night and were very satisfied. The location and sanitary facilities are great! We will definitely come back!
Everything is still being rebuilt after the fire. Good access to the dune. However, a little too expensive for our taste. Sanitary facilities in good condition and plenty of pitches available.
The site is still being rebuilt and we had rain, so the review is difficult. In the evening we easily got a pitch with a view of the dune and ate delicious burgers in the restaurant. It would certainly have been nicer with better weather.
Unfortunately, I have to confirm this comment. It is outrageous. The pitches and access are large enough. We had already found a suitable pitch and were parked, but they sent us away again. Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff.
Mind-boggling, never seen anything like it! Many large pitches were available with perfectly acceptable access, but this campsite does not accept motorhomes over 7 meters.
We stayed here for one night. Because of the reopening, much of the site is still under construction, but once it is finished, you can imagine that it will be very beautiful. In the evening, the sanitary facilities were really dirty and smeared with feces, but they were cleaned in the morning. At €43 per night for 2 people and 1 dog, I also expect the sanitary facilities to be cleaned more thoroughly. The restaurant was closed in the evening.
This is our third time here and we understand that not everything can be perfect after the fire. However, we are disappointed: bare pitches for campers, poorly maintained sanitary facilities, and no bread on Mondays because the restaurant is closed.
Wonderful location—very little shade due to the 2022 forest fire. Some pitches are very sandy; be careful when driving onto them so you do not get your tires stuck while maneuvering.
Ideally located for admiring the Dune of Pilat. The pitch was not great because of the construction work and the sanitary facilities were average. On the other hand, the team gave us a very warm welcome.
Despite the damage caused by the fires, the campsite has risen well from the ashes... a beautiful swimming pool with a view of the Dune of Pilat, a very welcoming restaurant, and we got a superb pitch facing the Dune of Pilat. Well done to them for restoring the campsite so well in such a short time. There is also a bus to visit Arcachon; the stop is right in front of the campsite.
Large, very busy campsite. Expensive for what it is - €32 for 1 camper and 2 people, no electric. Showers lukewarm, and not enough, but relatively clean. Immediate access to the dune - really the only reason to stay here.
Very nice site, excellent location by the dune, experienced a wonderful sunset. We got a pitch without a reservation despite it being high season. The price is perfect for this location and the facilities!
Beautiful site with direct access to the dune. The sanitary facilities are clean. There is also a very good restaurant on site and a pool. There is an entertainment program in the evenings. We suspect that the landscaping is still being developed, with more plants to come. There are paved and unpaved pitches. Ramps are recommended. Higher price range because it is a four-star campsite.
August 20. Unfortunately, the campsite suffered a fire a couple of years ago, but they are working to restore everything. It is very beautiful, with many places for campers, glamping, and tents. It is located below the dune, with fantastic scenery. The showers are new, spacious, and equipped with a sink and mirror. I recommend it to anyone who loves and respects nature.
