Been here?
A large forest car park near the Wilseder Heide and a good starting point for walks. It is for daytime parking only until 10 p.m., with a current day ticket costing 7€; overnight stays are prohibited and there is no disposal facility. The ground can be uneven and soft after rain, and parts of the parking area are shaded by trees.

Spacious parking area under the trees, with a small sunny section too. What was particularly disappointing was the high parking fee: €7 for a piece of forest. In my opinion, something like this should simply be free for a tourist hiking area. There were horse-drawn carriages offering rides (€100 per hour). We went for a walk, but it was not very well signposted. In the end, we managed.
Spacious parking area near the Wilseder Heide. We did not like that, despite the €7 parking fee, there were no rubbish bins anywhere along the hiking trails. At the end of the paths, the dog-waste bags were piled up!
After weeks of rain, everything was very soft and muddy. Even on the paths there was a risk of getting stuck. We quickly moved on. Still three stars because the area is extensive and good hikes are possible.
