109-101 Övägen, 810 40
Been here?
A forested lakeside spot across from another site, without a sandy beach but with swimming access. The narrow, bumpy road suits campervans but may not suit motorhomes. A fire pit is available, and there is no toilet. The peninsula can become extremely overcrowded, with 30-40 vehicles reported recently, and nearby homes are present.

The entire peninsula is hopelessly overcrowded. We saw 30–40 vehicles! Can this be deleted? People live there! Every time they come home, they see people sitting everywhere by the water with folding tables as if it were a huge campsite! Why do you join in when someone is already parked there?
beautiful spot, feels so secluded. in the forest next to a crystal clear lake. no mosquitoes. narrow bumpy road that was easy in our campervan but I dont think motorhomes would manage
Lovely place by the water. Close to the road, but it is so quiet that it does not bother you. I made a bench and a sheltered spot with dry firewood for the next visitor.
As already described, a super-friendly spot right by the water. The only drawback is the bumpy access road. Bring some ground clearance or strong nerves.
Really great place, with a fire pit. But no toilet or rubbish bin. We were alone for one night. Relatively many mosquitoes, but that is almost everywhere. The road was barely audible and it was very quiet.
The place was great. We were there with a 3-by-7-metre camper and it just fit. In wet weather, you need to take the exit with a bit of momentum, but it worked.
Great place. It’s quiet, hidden from the road, nice view by the water, possibility to swim and make a fire. The other place on the other side of the road had 3-4 cars but here we were alone. No toilet. We had a really great and calm night, one of the best places we have been in Sweden. No trash while we were here so let’s keep it that way.
Great place. We slept at the site on the other side of the road and came over here for breakfast. Great opportunities to walk the dog. Lots of sun and peace.
Great place. Hardly any wind and very few mosquitoes. But there are spiders that build webs on the vehicle. You can hear the road but not see it. Little traffic! Partial shade and fire pits available. Unfortunately, here too you can see the previous visitor’s remains in the forest. Keep the place clean and bury it or take it with you.
Great, quiet parking spot behind the hill directly by the lake, so it is hidden from the road and more peaceful. Beautiful sunrise over the lake and several fire pits. You can access the lake without any problems, but there is no sandy beach.
