This rural roadside spot between the mountains offers a nice view and several places between the tunnels. The nearby lake allows a little swimming, and the road has little traffic despite being close. No services are available, and phone reception is poor.

Nice view, you can have a little swim in the lake and first night on our trip we didn’t need anything to level our RV. The road is close but not a lot of traffic. Bad phone reception thou.
