1B Surrey Road, BH2 6BP, Bournemouth
Been here?
This is free parking on a quiet residential cul-de-sac near Bournemouth city centre. Building works have expanded onto the road, with traffic lights and double yellow lines, and may continue for at least another 6 months. The town is a 10 minute walk via a stream and park. Vehicles over 5 meters may be ticketed because they are not permitted.

The Building work has expanded further onto the road with traffic lights also and effective double yellows when the fencing does provide enough room to park. I would suggest there is at least another 6 months worth of works.
Deffo the best free Parking you’ll find near the city. The road is a cul de sac so only residents drive down here. Small amount of foot traffic. Great access to town, you can walk along the stream direct to city centre, no roads. Literally a 10 minute walk. We stayed here for the weekend, there are houses being built so not sure what it would be like during the week but would come here again.
Depending what vehicle you have Campervan or Motorhome over 5 meters I would not stay in Bournemouth as, the app that you have to use to pay for parking during the day says any vehicle. I have a fiat Ducato and got a, ticket £160 or £80 if paid in 14 days with comment saying vehicle not permitted to park in this area. Like most sea side resorts trying to ban campervan and Motorhomes
Quite residential road, dead end so minimal passing traffic. Houses set quite far back so not too overlooked. Just a couple hundred meters from the park that let's you walk all the way into town (10mins) or beach (15mims)
Very good quiet road. Came on a Sunday and there were many spaces after 6. Beautiful walk through nice park to town.
