2 Rue du Manoir Saint-Jean, 7070, Le Roeulx
Been here?
This parking place is beside the canal in front of the water, with nearby walks and a small supermarket 5 min. on foot. Recent information describes it as quiet and suitable for a motorhome of 6m, although another recent comment says it is a café terrace and impossible for motorhomes. The area is close to one of the UNESCO-listed historic boat lifts.

Quiet place right beside the canal. Possibility of taking lovely walks, right next to one of the former boat lifts listed by UNESCO. Small supermarket five minutes away on foot. Very good for spending one night. Ideal for a six-metre motorhome. There is another spot just across the canal for longer motorhomes.Translating
One night, in transit. We were not alone, indeed. We arrived late. Very quiet spot. As mentioned, we went beyond the bridge. Recommended.Translating
Impossible to park a motorhome. It is the café's terrace parking.Translating
We stayed on the other side of the bridge with several motorhomes and asked the local police. There was no problem at all with spending the night. Thanks for this location. Frans and Marita.Translating
I walked here, but these are ordinary parking spaces. Everything has just been renovated. It is better for everyone to stay on the other side of the canal. There is plenty of room and you do not cause any nuisance.Translating
We spent two nights on the other side of the canal, along the long quay, with several motorhomes. Plenty of space, and you are more independent than here by the church. We saw the place while passing through Sluis on a sightseeing boat. We saw no police and no sign saying it was forbidden.Translating
Good location (we went across the bridge as recommended) but we arrived at about 8pm on a Saturday evening & quite a few young people around drinking plus river cruise boat alongside. So didn’t stay. I’m sure would be ok mid week Translating
Spent a quiet night; great walk along the canal.Translating
Much better opposite after crossing the bridge: clean, quiet, beautiful scenery, cycling and hiking. The boat lift is impressive. Respect this place, thank you.Translating
The other side is much better, quieter.Translating
Stayed on the other side of the water with three motorhomes for two nights. Beautiful, peaceful place!Translating
There are only a few marked car parking spaces. Otherwise, the large semicircular area shown in the uploaded photos is secured with bollards and cannot be entered.Translating
It is better to cross the canal bridge; there is a huge parking area at the bottom of the marina.Translating
The parking area has been renovated, with fewer spaces but a nicer appearance. Not suitable for large motorhomes. There is a large parking area opposite where large motorhomes can park.Translating
The parking area is currently closed. It is being renovated.Translating
Great spot for the night after leaving the Tunnel at about 4.30 pm. We stayed in early September. Lovely sunset over the canal. Boy racers turned up for about 15 minutes at 9pm, then silence. 1 knocked off for flies! (possibly because someone had emptied their grey water where they should not..Translating
We preferred the parking area opposite.Translating
