9 Hamnvägen, 387 31, Borgholm
Been here?
This paid motorhome area sits directly beside the harbour, with tightly arranged rows and excellent waterfront views and sunsets. The price is SEK 420 plus about 10% service fee, with electricity included; payment works through Aimo. There are only three toilets and showers, a disposal point about 700m away, and the surface has been reported as poorly maintained with potholes. The town and Borgholm Castle are within walking distance, but the area is expensive and an industrial or treatment-plant smell may occur.

We were parked in the front row, right at the very end of the site. Wonderful location; you just mustn't look behind you, as there is "industry" there. We were very satisfied; nobody can do anything about the weather. Unfortunately, very expensive for what is offered...
This site is far too expensive, with only three toilets with showers, and the site is full of potholes and very poorly maintained.
Beautiful view. The toilets and showers are clean and perfectly adequate, even if nothing special. The sunsets are simply fantastic. The town and its sights can easily be reached on foot. Overall, a very well-located site with a great view.
Great pitch, clean showers, quite expensive, first-class location by the water, Borgholm Castle within walking distance.
Location directly by the water Price: SEK 420 plus approximately 10% service fee. Works via Aimo.
We were in the front row by the sea—that is what makes this site! Otherwise, the toilet trailer is insufficient and an unpleasant smell from the sewage treatment plant repeatedly reached our noses. On the other hand, it is very central.
Overcrowded, and people park haphazardly. Sanitary facilities inadequate.
Outstanding view, service inadequate in relation to the price, compared with the price of, for example, the very well-maintained campsite in Byxelkrok in northern Öland. Here at Sunset motorhome site there are only three toilets/showers and a single washing-up sink. There is nothing wrong with a mobile solution, but there are no paper towels—not even empty holders. No rubbish container as far as the eye can see. Located next to a "sewage factory".
€45 for one night. Next to a treatment plant with a bad smell. Beautiful panorama, but overall not worth it.
The view is magnificent. Directly by the water. Wonderful sunset and sunrise. The site was full in the evening when we were there. We would come again.
Pitch, as described several times before, directly by the water. Showers and toilets in a container; at the end of May about SEK 315 via EasyPark, electricity included at the pitch. Waste disposal described on the information board, about 700 m away.
SEK 300 at the beginning of May—but we thought it was worth it. Everything else has already been written!
You cannot get any closer to the water. Everything is simple but usable and clean. Easy check-in, accessible at any time. We stayed for two nights while exploring the island. We would come again anytime.
It is hard to park any closer to the water or with a better view. We were there briefly and alone on 02/01/2025; the site is certainly always full in summer. The proximity to the town centre is perfect. Everything you need is available in town. Note: no fresh-water supply or toilet disposal. In winter, only the grey-water drain at the main site is available. Hence only 4 stars; otherwise 5.
The site is open all year round! Great location immediately by the sea. You can block out the sewage treatment plant in the background, and it was not noticeable during our visit.
Beautiful site with electricity on grass and a sea view. SEK 335 plus SEK 50 fee via the app. Parkster does not show a site here! In my opinion, too expensive. Dog-friendly.
The location directly by the water and its proximity to the town are excellent. Great restaurants and many shops. The three combined showers/toilets are the bare minimum but very clean. The sewage treatment plant occasionally spreads an unpleasantly sweet smell. Castle gardens and castle ruins to visit. We stayed here for two nights at the end of the season.
Beautiful site by the sea; payment is possible via app and credit card, and electricity is also available. Toilets and showers are in a container but exceptionally clean. The lovely pedestrian zone with many restaurants is just a few minutes' walk away. We will definitely come again.
Beautiful site directly by the sea, close to the town centre and right next to a water-treatment plant, which hums occasionally but is otherwise fairly quiet. Electricity, fresh water, washing-up area, rubbish disposal, toilet and shower included and directly on site. The sanitary facilities were quite clean, but at night they were home to many spiders. Payment by app.
We arrived here around 4 p.m. and got one of the last free spaces. The sanitary container is small but fine. Good starting point for exploring the town.
Great view if you get a space in the front row. A distance of 4 metres must be maintained between motorhomes, which was generously observed. Toilets/showers are okay, but there is no grey-water or toilet disposal on site (2 minutes away; information posted on site). Everything is within walking distance.
