Cars coming and going, engines running (why do folk drive out into nature and leave the cars running!) and music playing. No sign of anything settling so left to find another place. Could be useful if desperate.
Stayed here for one night. When I arrived I had the whole car park to myself. It’s calm without light pollution, so can really get some good sleep in. Around 6am the traffic of surrounding cars will start to increase, so this is a spot for early birds to leave. Great views. There are also bins and the area is great for foraging^^ nettles, blueberries, red clover etc. in autumn
Daytime is fine, lots of dog walkers, nice walking trails. But we had a bad night here with loud music and shouting from cars until about 01:00, then behind us, an ominously close car with lights and engine running from midnight until 02:30, and beeps from passing cars. Another campervan left at about midnight as it seemed too rowdy for them. Would only stay here again in an emergency.
Great views, car park of a main road but quiet at night. Good walks for dogs and mountain biking.
