It is flat and overlooks the illuminated Marvão stone hill, with a medieval bridge, picnic tables, restaurants, and a bar nearby. The old path to Marvão starts here, and a cold shower is available after the white building beyond the bridge. It is busy during summer daylight, with no sign prohibiting motorhomes or overnight stays.

I liked this place, to park and rest after lunch at the pool, enjoying my chair with a backrest under the shade at the edge of the river beach, blowing a gentle bridle.
