8 Viale Rimembranze, 18030, Rocchetta Nervina
Been here?
Two parking areas offer views of the village and mountains, with one height-limited section and another without a height limit. Night parking is free, while daytime parking has been reported at 8€ per day or 1€ per hour from 8:00 to 20:00. Toilets are available but recently described as very dirty. The normal access road is suitable for campers, but the SP92 route is steep and narrow for vehicles around 6.5m.

Perfect place for canyoning the next day. Otherwise, a nice village and calm during the night. Free parking overnight too. If you park at the end of the lot, it smells like shit—use the toilet; it is free, or go into a bar or something.
Perfect for one night. Toilets available.
Warning: parking ticket because the vehicle extended beyond the space—€42. No tickets issued to Italians who were badly parked.
still a great place to explore the town, go for a hike, bath or canyoning. the toilets are still a mess, this year the light works again but no locks on the doors. quiet at the moment, 3 campers at night
don't take the sp92 to get here(from breils-sur-roya), that was a bit to steep and tight for our 6.5m camper. low hanging branches etc. anyways, the normal road to this place is fine, turn around at the last parking spot and the upper park has ample place for campers. perfect to go canyoning the day after
we arrived at 8 pm in august with a camper van. the parking was almost empty. we stayed a night for free as the machine was out of order. we parked at the very end of the upper parking. vert well located. quiet and secure night. tourist arriving from 8am for canyoning. we went bathing in the river, veryyyy nice, few meters away. we didnt use the toilets as it was very dirty.
The parking area is quite large, but you need to arrive early in the morning to get a space because hikers arrive after 9:30. It costs €8 per day in coins and is free from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Toilets are open even at night below the parking area near the garages, but they are very dirty. The parking area is nevertheless well located, 2 minutes from the river.
I love this small town! Make sure you try the homemade pasta from the home kitchen and check out the natural pools in the village. They are amazing for a dip on a hot day. We stayed in the top car park for the night and we weren’t disturbed. The police seem to do a check in the evening and the morning but they didn’t bother us.
