We spent one night and it was wonderfully quiet.
Perfect for a peaceful night's stay!
Several pitches in the wooded lakeside area. In summer it is probably a true mosquito paradise. Not suitable for vehicles over 6 m. A 3 km washboard road to get there!
Beautiful place for one night. I would definitely park a little farther south! About 250 meters from the first parking area there is a fire pit with a table and benches, as well as two parking spaces. After about 500 meters there are parking bays under the pine trees. I parked there and almost nobody passed by, since all the day visitors head north toward the tower. The first parking area gets very full during the day.
This was a nice quiet stop. There is a dry toilet if needed.
Super nice spot. We even spent two nights there. Not only is the path to the lookout tower worthwhile, but the other direction is too—first along the lake, then through the forest. On our hike we even saw a badger and lots of wildlife tracks. Nature lovers will get their money's worth here.
Nice parking area for a break and a walk along the nature reserve. It is very busy on weekends. Because of that and the mosquitoes, we drove on after a pleasant lunch break.
The road over there was very bumpy, but in the morning the grader came and leveled the road. You can use toilet and tabels. Also walk to a bird watching tower and on the way get to know some calm horses.
Fine place for the night. The lake access right in the parking lot is muddy and looks like it is used more for boats. Lots of space for maybe 6-8 campers/vans. There was just us and 1 other Van, so nice and quite. Locals do come and park here- so many coming and going until 8pm or so.
Nice, quiet place with room for several campers! You can go for good walks from here. Plenty of tables, including a covered one in case it rains.
Quiet in the forest. The walk to the lake is only partly worthwhile now because the bird-watching tower has been dismantled. The dry toilet is a dark, smelly mosquito cave. Covered picnic tables.
Very good place in the forrest. Plenty of space so everyone can have privacy. Fair facilities. Place in the middle of forrest.
Quiet places along the lake with banks and fire places. Very dark and no views on the lake. Lots of mosquitoes. Not romantic at all. We didn’t stay for the night.
