This riverside beach parking area has barbecues, tables, public toilets and a beach shower, although the shower was not working in April 2025. Access includes narrow lanes, and a 6.70m campervan passed only just; recent traffic has also made the approach less pleasant. The toilets are open during the day but close at 20h, while distant karaoke or nightclub noise may be heard.

Beware of narrow streets when coming from Aventes. We just managed to pass with a 6.70-meter motorhome. There was a lot of car traffic in May; not great even for one night. I recommend the route from the opposite side of the parking area.
Quiet place, narrow lane to access it. Toilets open during the day but close at 8 p.m. Barbecue available.
We spent one night here and it went well. It is quiet if you disregard the karaoke or nightclub in the distance. Thanks to the restaurant for the directions. When you reach the restaurant, do not hesitate to enter the parking area opposite and follow the dirt track to a larger space. Access to a small beach where fishermen arrive early in the morning.
Very quiet place, with plenty of parking. We went in April 2025 and the showers were not working. The water tap is next to the barbecue. The 2023 description said there were public toilets, but we did not find them.
The main advantage of this spot is its proximity to Porto and Gaia. It is located between a lower-level promenade and homes, with quite a lot of traffic in the evening and morning. Suitable for only one vehicle; vegetation is reclaiming the area. It feels a bit like being on someone’s property. The bonus is the view of Porto.
