Nice spot by the lake/water. Not particularly atmospheric, old sanitary facilities with low water pressure. The facilities were clean, though. The washing-up area was in the toilet room. No place to dispose of wastewater. The value for money was good.
The site is really beautiful: small and manageable, right by the water. But the sanitary facilities are really poor. The toilets are much too dark. The shower water is cold and the floor looked very dirty. In addition, the dishwashing area is located in the toilet block. Not very appropriate.
A nice, small, camping place. We arrived in the evening, parked on an available spot as per instructions at the reception, paid online. Very easy, straightforward booking and paying process. Pretty basic utilities-wise, sanitary aeaa also basic and small, but functional. No kitchen/lounge, but bonus is that one can just borrow the boats available and enjoy a quiet row on the lake.
Quite a nice place, but with our small van we were not allowed to use the available spots by the water because “they were for the large campers.” We would have paid just as much. We moved on.
Beautiful location. You can hear traffic from the E134, but it is quiet at night. The best thing is a group rowing trip on the lake. The service facilities are outdated. Anyone afraid of the dark should bring a flashlight for the women's toilets.
The campsite is beautifully located; the rear pitches are the nicest. The sanitary facilities are not very good. The shower-head holder in the women's shower was broken, and while showering you have to press a button frequently for the water to run. I could not find a gray-water disposal point.
320 NOK per night in a camper. Electricity, if needed, costs 70 NOK. Beautiful grounds, two-thirds surrounded by water. You can also book a cabin. Each women's and men's area has two showers and three toilets, plus a washing-up station. This place is highly recommended.
For me, this has become a mandatory stop. Every time we return to Norway, I tell myself that sooner or later I want to stay here for at least one or two weeks.
Perfect value for money: 330 NOK for one night with a motorhome and electricity, including showers and refilling the water. Unfortunately, there is too little light in the toilet and many puddles. Check-in is only possible online or via Vipps, which is only available to Norwegians and Swedes. PayPal would be perfect!
Beautiful site by the lake. Toilets and showers are basic but clean and sufficiently available. It is located on the E134, but things get quiet in the evening. Payment online by card. QR code displayed.
You can stay there very nicely. The view is great. On the left you can stand by the lake, and at the rear right there is a river. The showers were okay and fairly clean, as were the toilets. However, they saved money on lighting—it is so dark. In the women's shower you unfortunately have to press the button every three seconds, otherwise the water stops. Very inconvenient when washing your hair!
The reception was unstaffed, and check-in is done online via a QR code. Two rowing boats and life jackets are available free of charge. Downside: The site has no lighting and offers many opportunities for puddles when it rains. The sanitary facilities are old, with far too few places to put things in the showers.
Sorry, but this is not a nice campsite. We were glad to leave the next day. A shame about the money. Next time we will simply stay in the parking area, which has a nicer view.
Rustic but beautiful site with everything needed for one night. The sanitary building looks quaint, but inside it is relatively new and clean. The site was full in the evening. We stood directly by the lake with electricity. The price is fair for what is provided.
Small, idyllic campsite directly by the lake. The free rowing boat, which you can use to explore the lake, is especially nice—a real highlight! The location is quiet and close to nature, perfect for relaxing. There are a few drawbacks, however: there is no proper dishwashing facility, which is somewhat inconvenient over time. A few small things are also missing, such as shelves or hooks. The sanitary facilities are basic, somewhat dark, and there are only two showers, which can mean waiting when the site is full. Overall, a lovely place for those who like things quiet and uncomplicated, with potential for small improvements.
The nicest and most helpful owner on our route so far. Great location directly by the lake. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to borrow an extension cable. You can borrow rowing boats for free, and the showers are also free, although unfortunately they were cold for us.
Campsite for one night, close to the road. The small lake is very beautiful, and the sanitary facilities are clean but made dirty by the large number of campers. Not enough showers and toilets. Bring a headlamp for the toilets and sinks. The owner saves on electricity.
An absolute favorite spot. Friendly staff and a great view directly over the lake await you. We arrived in the afternoon and still got a wonderful pitch right by the lake. All the other pitches are nice too. The sanitary facilities are a little dark, but the showers are new and everything is clean.
Idyllic campsite, friendly welcome from the owner. The sanitary facilities and site are somewhat dated, but the showers have been renovated. 270 NOK plus 60 NOK for electricity, perfectly reasonable. No kitchen, but boats and fishing included. The road can be noisy depending on the pitch, but there is not much traffic at night. We would gladly return!
Great place. Clean bathroom with showers and toilets. Lovely staff who speak great English. 270NOK for one night no electric (2025). Highly recommended.
Located directly on a small lake with excellent pitches. The spots directly by the water are unfortunately only for large vehicles. Smaller vehicles and tents can stay farther back by the trees. Wonderful view. The E16 does not cause any disturbance even at night. Sanitary facilities are old but exceptionally clean, and they fit the character of this lovely place. The showers are new. 270 NOK is an unbeatable price! I would gladly return.
Beautiful site, friendly owner. Free choice of pitches becomes a problem when huge motorhomes occupy the tent area and crowd out tent campers. Embarrassing.
Nice little place; everything has already been explained. Fishing in the lake is free, as is using the boats. Good, free Wi-Fi. The only criticism is the E-road running directly past the site. Absolutely fine for one night.
We liked it very much. Plenty of space, many pitches leveled with gravel, and free choice of pitch. If you arrive early enough, you can get a spot by the river at the back. Plenty of electricity connections. Payment online via QR code, or someone comes around in the evening (€330 for a motorhome with two people and electricity). Sanitary facilities are somewhat old-fashioned but clean.
Beautiful site by the lake. The road is quiet at night, so it is not a problem. Dogs are allowed here. Clean sanitary facilities, usable without NOK coins. Boats on the lake are available. Very friendly operators.
Payment was very easy with a QR code, and the location was beautiful. We stopped here for one night. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but clean. On our journey through Norway so far, this place had the best waste separation, so it gets full marks—many large sites could learn from it!
Payment is possible via Vipps or online booking using the QR code in the reception window. 260 NOK for the camper plus 60 NOK for electricity. The sanitary facilities are old and dark, but the shower was free and hot.
