Hermitage parking, barking mastiffs

The access is terrifying, with a very sharp bend. I don't think it is suitable for vans in general; with a Transporter, we had to enter in reverse. Once there, many mastiffs would not let us relax and barked constantly. On top of that, it is on a slope.

Quiet place with extraordinary views. We arrived in a 6-meter van. I recommend walking up first to assess the final bend.

Very quiet place with spectacular views. Suitable for 3–4 small vans. Narrow road to get there, with a sharp bend at the end. It is worth sleeping there, outside the enclosure. There is a fountain inside the enclosure. Having a siesta in the church meadow is priceless. Let's take care of these places where we are still welcome.

A great place. There is a fountain at the church. The place is quiet, with beautiful views of the village. It is true that the site is tiny. Perfect for climbing Peña Ubiña the next day :)

Great place to set off on a route toward Peña Ubiña. It is a shame that, despite the warnings, a van spent the night inside the church.

The place is spectacular, but there is only room for 2 or 3 vehicles. The climb is very steep; if you have a motorhome, I would think twice because of the sharp bend. Otherwise, you sleep very well in complete silence.

I did not spend the night because the GPS sent me along a dirt track, which is the road up to Peña Ubiña. I had to call a tow truck because the van was slipping and sliding downhill. The surroundings are incredible, so even though I did not spend the night there, it is worth it. Thanks to the two girls who were concerned and offered their help. Incredible place with wonderful people.

Overnight stays are allowed outside the church; please respect this so we can continue sleeping in the area. The site is not very large and usually fills up on weekends, but if necessary you can sleep lower down in the village. There is water in the church enclosure and you can eat there. Not all of the parking area is flat, but it is very quiet and has spectacular views of Ubiña.
