Quiet place for one night
Lovely view and peace and quiet. Only a few cars passed during our stay. The toilet was 2.5 km away, at the most beautiful little beach, which we combined with a run.
What a special place. Quiet, a little beach, lots of space, and several fire pits. The man in the supermarket in Forsand recommended this place to us. A big kiss to him! It is wonderfully sheltered from the wind, and in the afternoon the sun warms the place nicely.
Very nice and quiet spot for spending the night. Space for a maximum of 2 campers. Please park farther back so oncoming traffic can still pass. If you are looking for a secluded spot with a beautiful view, you are in the right place.
Beautiful place directly on the fjord. Gravel area with a level surface. Swimming in the fjord is possible. A stream can also provide water when it has enough flow. Little traffic, although a tractor or truck occasionally passes by.
Great view, small beach next door, and super quiet—highly recommended!
Beautiful place, super quiet at night and with spectacular evening light on the fjord! Space for a maximum of 4 campers.
Dreamlike. Sheep, peace and quiet, swimming in the fjord, and farther back you can even see Preikestolen from below. Many people with kayaks have launched from here. Absolutely recommended for self-sufficient campers. There is an open area farther up for 4x4s or tents.
One of our best spots in Norway, incredible view!
There’s a spot just behind/above us that we didn’t see. We would drive a bit further to get to that spot if we would go here again.
What a view! Tonight there are 3 vans and one motorhome. On the Lysefjord and close to the beach and small hiking trails.
Beautiful camping spot! Truly a 10/10! The view is a dream. The spot is visited by many little animals. In addition to sheep, a small cat family with kittens lives on the beach in a pipe. They would be happy to receive some petting and surely also the occasional fish or fish scraps if any anglers have some left over :-)
We discovered this spot at the beginning of our trip through Norway and would love to return because it really was a dream. The view is 11/10 and the swimming area is fantastic. Sheep visit from time to time, adding to the idyll. You share it with 2–3 others, but that was no problem for us. Apart from campers looking for a spot, no cars pass by. My only request to everyone wild camping there: take all your waste, including toilet paper, with you so this spot remains a dream.
Nice spot for several vehicles, great view, very quiet road, and fairly sheltered from the wind. About 1 km away there is a swimming area with a hut, barbecue facilities, bins, and a toilet.
Nice spot with a great view. It is in a sheltered corner, and you can level out with ramps. Up to four vehicles can fit here. Please remove the built and abandoned fire pits made from large stones.
Very nice spot for fishing too. Come early; all spaces were already occupied.
If you want to come here, arrive early :) all three spaces were already occupied when we arrived at around 7:30 p.m. Also be careful of falling rocks, as several stones were lying on the road. But the view is beautiful. There may be fog in the valley in the morning :)
One of the best spots on the Lysefjord. Five smaller campers are definitely possible if everyone squeezes together, but in reality three is more realistic. Fishing in the fjord is possible. The road is very quiet, but getting there via a single-track road is somewhat challenging for larger motorhomes.
Very good spot with space for at least 5-6 campers if you are mindful when parking and don't leave giant gaps. Please be nice and think about others, this is not camping, it's a gravel parking bay so treat it like parking ;)
Beautiful and peaceful spot… popular with campervans.
Nice spot directly on the fjord. We stayed here for one night before hiking to Preikestolen, along with 4 other campers. ☺️ The spot was full by around 4:30 p.m.
Fantastically beautiful spot with room for at least 3 panel vans. Naturally there are no facilities, but the view is perfect, the sheep are charming, and you can swim if you want.
Super quiet and beautiful spot directly on the fjord. The road has very little traffic.
A nice spot before the hike to Preikestolen. We stayed with another vehicle by the road, which was quiet at night. A few motorcycles passed in the evening. You can easily walk down to the fjord and enjoy nature.
