This large, mostly level parking area is suitable for an overnight stay and visiting the Sequoia forest. It is generally quiet despite the nearby road, although a high-voltage electricity tower stands beside it. There is no shade, and soft grass or earth can trap vehicles, especially after rain.

Very quiet parking area on a mountain ridge. We slept alone. There is an electricity pylon right next to it, but it does not disturb sleep. Ideal for visiting the sequoia forest.
Great for one night; we were alone.
The parking area can be recommended for one night.
Good parking area for spending the night and visiting the sequoia forest, level and spacious. The only drawback is that there is no shade.
Quite a quiet parking area, despite the nearby road, which can barely be heard. Be careful not to drive onto the grassy area and softer ground, or you may get stuck. If you are careful, it is a very good place, with paths nearby for walking. If you do not look at the high-voltage tower, you would not even notice it is there.
