Unnamed Road, 4970, Rødby
Been here?
A quiet daytime parking area beside a bird sanctuary and beach, suitable for a stop while waiting for the ferry. There are no services, but Dixi toilets are available in the parking lot during the summer season. The access road is a long, uneven gravel track with potholes, so it is better avoided in the dark. The surrounding area is remote and suited to walks near the dunes and lighthouse.

Secluded spot, very quiet.
We were here two years ago as well, to take the ferry to Fehmarn the next day. Still recommended :)
A beautiful, quiet spot. We spent a lovely and peaceful day here. I couldn't walk to the lighthouse because it is breeding season, so I will come back again. P.S. A Danish retired couple also spent the night here. All the campers behaved impeccably; not even a scrap of paper was lying around.
We took a walk here while waiting for our ferry. Very nice parking area, with a long approach along a partly very potholed gravel track. It is best not to drive it in the dark.
A very good place to wait for the ferry, with a walk to the lighthouse.
Great place for staying self-sufficient. Consideration for the nature reserve should go without saying.
Very beautiful place. According to the sign, access is closed until July 15 because of the breeding season. After that it is freely accessible. The walk of about one hour to the lighthouse, which can be climbed, is highly recommended. There is definitely room for six or seven campers.
Very remote, with a gravel and dirt road that is easy to drive. The walk to the lighthouse and back is a little over 7 km, not just 4 km as another comment below says. You can even climb the lighthouse. There is a very beautiful panoramic view from the top. The walk outside the breeding season is worthwhile; the nature reserve is closed from March 1 to July 20.
Very beautiful spot. The road there is very bumpy and you cannot drive fast, otherwise everything in the camper shakes. Once you arrive, you are rewarded with a very peaceful place just behind the dunes. There are no rubbish bins, but there are some by the last house. The bird reserve is wonderful to explore on foot, except during the breeding season.
Beautiful place in the middle of nature. We spent a very peaceful night. Parking for anyone who wants to stay away from the crowds. There are beautiful walks, especially to Hyllekrog Fyr. It is about a 3 km walk among the birds and the sea. Fantastic!
A long approach, about 25–30 minutes from Rødbyhavn, through the fields to an otherwise beautiful spot. When we arrived, half a dozen dogs were running all over the place. Their owners either did not care or were unable to control their animals. Bird reserve! Thanks a lot. We turned around immediately.
This is nature at its purest. The parking spaces are level and well surfaced. About a 2 km walk along the beach to the lighthouse. Please keep quiet, as this is a bird reserve. No services, but a wonderfully beautiful place. Please take your rubbish with you. Thank you!
A wonderful pitch, quiet, clean, and 50 metres from the sea. We stayed one night before continuing our journey through Denmark. Leave the place clean and consider yourself a guest here; it is not a campsite!
Great, peaceful place. Walkers come in the morning. Swimming is possible, although there are some algae. It can be windy!
A very beautiful, natural, and peaceful place. A quiet and restful night.
A perfect place to spend the night, about 30 minutes from the ferry harbour. It was so quiet apart from the birds singing and by the sea. There were 2 campervans parked there but room for 2 more. The bird reserve itself is closed until mid July so couldn’t walk to the lighthouse. No facilities.
Peaceful nature spot with lots of birds. The walk to the lighthouse is closed because of the breeding season. The walk to the bird-watching hut along the dike beside the water is enjoyable.
Super beautiful place after a long drive. We spent the night before the ferry to Puttgarden, like many others. Simply peaceful and restorative.
