Closed parking, municipal order

I live 50 meters away, and unfortunately this place was closed by municipal order from July 22, 2026, until further notice, because some young people from the town constantly enjoy doing drifts and burnouts with music blasting, disturbing the peace of nearby residents. Sleeping with the window open at night during the heatwave has become a luxury. Go to Champ de Bienne at the football field!

Good for a lunch break, with a waterfall nearby and little parking traffic.

Quiet and free, with few people during the day for this time of year. A beautiful waterfall at the back is a lovely surprise. No services or bins. Great for a lunch stop.

We have been here for three days. It is very quiet and peaceful. People sometimes walk through, but it is not bothersome. The police came to check that everything was okay, and we are indeed allowed to park here. However, it feels as though some people are tipping others off to pass by or check that someone is there, which is rather unsettling. Apart from that inconvenience, nothing to complain about.

A large parking area 10 minutes from the city center. It is not signposted at all, so GPS is essential. We spent a quiet night there and were the only motorhome. The parking area is completely unlit, with homes nearby. Thank you to the municipality for offering this option; some access signs and lighting would be welcome.

Despite some worrying comments, we spent the night alone in this huge parking area. There was no other noise besides that of... The city center is barely ten minutes away on foot. No services, admittedly, but free spaces near city centers or attractions are becoming very rare, so I appreciate this option. Thank you to the municipality.

Very good area. We were able to visit Saint-Claude and the Queue de Cheval waterfall. The only problem was that when we returned, we were alone; residents told us that young people come to do drifts. We did not stay. What a shame.

Nice place for visiting the town. Indeed, when arriving at the parking area, keep right and go to the back. Great spot with the waterfalls. We were alone there at the beginning of April.

Stayed three nights. Quiet, simple, and pleasant. The waterfall surprised us by tripling in volume overnight; it was not dangerous. Go all the way down to the back of the parking area.

I spent two nights there; we were two vehicles. The noise of the waterfall during rainy weather is very persistent and almost unbearable, even with earplugs. A suspicious car parked next to me at midnight and left as soon as my dog barked.

This place is unfortunately closed; there is a fair until July 8. We drove toward the waterfall, to the large parking lot on the left side of the road.
