Absolutely recommended for a stopover. Good lounge with kitchen, clean toilets, and an affordable price. When the wind sweeps across the land, simply park behind the building, where it is nicely sheltered. Payment is made directly to the owner, who comes by briefly in the evening to collect it.
Hello everyone, if you are in the area, this is an absolutely beautiful motorhome site with four electrical hookups and two new outdoor pools, wonderfully warm. Beautiful bathroom, hot showers, and a lovely lounge. The location is absolutely fantastic. We paid 4,080 ISK for two seniors without electricity.
Simple and uncomplicated, with a breathtaking fjord view! Nice lounge with washing-up area and cooking facilities. Two seniors: €35 including electricity and shower.
OPEN AND WONDERFUL for small campers and large ones too. A huge pitch for parking. Large communal room with incredible views. Hot, free showers. In the late afternoon, the very friendly manager comes with the card terminal. Clean. Be careful with the strong wind; it is important to position the van facing into it.
Recommended! Open campsite, very simple, with a superb view of the fjord. Two hot pools always open. There is no possibility of emptying the black-water tank.
We were able to stay for one night even though it was under construction. The owner came in the evening for payment. Very kind. The jacuzzi was working. Very beautiful view of the fjord. Recommended.
Closed this season due to renovations (it says so on a note in the window). Otherwise, it would be an incredibly beautiful location. Such a shame.
Very beautiful campsite with a superb view. Shared hot showers included in the price. A lovely communal room where you can cook while enjoying a view of the fjord. Indeed, someone came by to collect payment at 10 p.m. We were still awake, so it did not bother us.
Small rustic campsite facing the fjord. Two women's showers, not enclosed. Small hot pool, which we enjoyed at the end of the day. Nice!
Pleasant place with a beautiful view. Shared showers and two toilets. Large heated communal room. Level pitches, only on grass. Far too few electrical outlets, only four. There is a serious shortage when it gets busy.
Paid 2200 ISK plus 400 tax, which includes hotpot and shower. Really nice location with a marvellous view of the sea. The hotpots are great; if you do a little climb you may combine them with a dip in the sea. Sanitary facilities are fine, and the large kitchen/lounge with huge windows is a real highlight. However, there's no supply & disposal, but good mobile phone reception.
Showers included, large lounge. Kettles are available, but there are no cooking hobs, only a microwave. The pitches are haphazard and not very cozy. The two hot pools with their incredible view are simply fantastic.
2300 ISK per person. The view and sunset are magnificent here. The hot baths with a view are a little moment outside of time (you must not be too fussy, as the water is not very clean), but there are showers right next to them in the facilities for washing. However, there seems to be no possibility of refilling the camper van with water because there is apparently not enough.
Very basic and inexpensive campsite (4600 ISK for a camper with 2 adults, 2 children and electricity). Common room and bathrooms could be cleaner, but our experience was very good: bathing in the thermal pool while watching the sunset and seals in the sea, or having breakfast in the common room while watching a whale swimming in front of us, was wonderful. We would come back.
I have never seen a kitchen and bathrooms THAT DIRTY! There is nothing, just a microwave. I give it 2 stars because the hot tub and views deserve it, but the campsite deserves 0 stars…
One of the places we will remember. Very simple: a building with showers, toilets, a lounge and kitchen. A meadow for tents, campers, etc. Highlight: two hot tubs right on the cliff edge. The facilities are run-down, but still have charm. The lounge and kitchen are very nice. The location is incredibly beautiful. The fee is collected in the evening. Wonderful peace and quiet.
Very good campsite. Well-maintained common areas. Sinks, kitchen, hot showers. It has small natural thermal pools facing the sea. We were charged 33 euros for two people and a small camper.
So far the best campsite. The common room/ kitchen is very big so everyone can find a space. It could have more stoves though. One with two plates is just not enough. We didn’t shower, so can’t say anything about it. They seemed okeish.
A wonderfully beautiful place with little activity and clean facilities. The hot pods with a view of the fjord are simply delightful.
Just perfect for one night. Big common area/kitchen with beautiful view to the fjord (no stoves or cutlery, but it has a microwave and fridge) 2 toilets and 2 showers per gender, it was enough as we were just 4 people staying that night. It is awesome to enjoy the view from the hot ( )high changes of seen seals). 4333isk for 2 people, not bad at all.
