Very beautiful place, parking allowed for 72 hours, beside the Moselle.
Service station out of order. Please do not leave glowing comments about the location; this entry is only for the service area, which is out of order, although gray and black water can still be emptied.
A peaceful night with a view of the château and the Moselle. You can park beside the campground. Parking is authorized for 72 hours. The service station is out of order. Gray and black water can be emptied. The very nice campground offered to fill our water for €3 in cash.
Quiet place, cycle path, walks, and above all silence and birdsong. The village is very beautiful and charming. I recommend it.
This site duplicates the parking area alongside the campground. In front of the campground, bivouacking and wild camping are prohibited for 50 meters on either side of the entrance by an order dated March 17, 2015, displayed at the campground entrance. However, parking is possible to the side for 72 hours. The dumping station in front of the campground is out of order.
Quiet place, very well located beside the water. We enjoyed it very much.
Perfect, quiet overnight spot with waste disposal and water; the water was still shut off in February because of the risk of freezing. The campground was also still closed for the winter.
Very nice, quiet, free overnight spot on the Moselle. In March, the campground next door was still closed. I did not use the facilities.
We stayed two nights at the motorhome area—or actually around the corner in the parking lot of the closed campground because the motorhome spaces were very muddy. You can stay here perfectly well; little traffic at night. Many walkers during the day, but it is quiet. Gray and black water can be emptied at the official dumping point, but there is no water. You can always rinse the cassette with gray water from your tank!
Used it to dump gray and black waste, then went on to park around the corner.
An unusual place right next to a campground. And yes, you can clearly hear the road on the other side of the Moselle; aircraft are also occasionally VERY audible, as is the train. Locals also often drive past much faster than the posted 20 km/h. Nevertheless, it is a well-maintained place where you can stay close to the water for a short time. There are plenty of picnic benches and so on.
Nice place for one night. Next to the river, with many places to sit. It was quite full when we arrived but still got a place. During the night there were loud music by some locals and the next day the whole road was filled with cars- we guess there was a special event. But for free it was totally worth it.
Nice place to spend a night. Directly beside the river and ideal for taking the dog for a walk. Very quiet location. Disposal is possible. We were very satisfied!
The spot is superb, beside the Moselle, ideal for staying three days (sign indicates a maximum of 72 hours). Unfortunately, the service station is out of order; a notice says to go to the campground next door, but it is not free. €3 just to fill up with water is excessive.
Campgrounds are not for us; the spaces next to it were occupied and it was very busy beside the campground. A little farther on, there is a beautiful, quiet, large parking area beside the Moselle with a lovely park, including loungers and tables. We went for a walk and had a very peaceful night.
A quiet strip of grass on the outskirts outside the campground, with space for about nine motorhomes. In front is a service area, but only the wastewater drain can be used; the card-operated water dispenser appears to be permanently defective. In any case, a great stopover in an idyllic location if you are self-sufficient. Pleasantly lit in the evening, with a beautiful view of the Château de Flie opposite.
Reserved for motorhomes but occupied by caravans. It is a shame, because the setting is pleasant, but we felt almost as though we were disturbing these inconsiderate people (without mentioning their license plate letters...).
This place is fascinating! Located right next to a paid spot, you can actually benefit from all the paid services (such as 6€ laundry machine) without actually paying to stay there. The people were super nice and the chateau across the river and picnic tables made this place ideal! Thank you!
Idyllic little spot, disposal possible, otherwise self-sufficiency is necessary—why complain about that at a free motorhome site? For everything else, you can book the campground!
Well-located area along the campground, just past it. Quiet and very pleasant. The water dispenser does not work; you have to ask the campground, which provides a hose to fill up. There is a bakery in the village, a 15-minute walk away. Recommended.
We spent a good and safe night here with about ten other motorhomes. Excellent location; you can take a lovely walk along the Moselle. There are also several picnic tables where you can sit in the shade. One point deducted because the gravel roads are dusty, locals race along them to go fishing or to their allotment gardens, and the frogs croak very loudly and annoyingly.
Very nicely located, directly on the Moselle. Free and safe; you need nothing more for an overnight stay. Otherwise, the campground is also available.
Very quiet. A nice little spot for fishing and walking. Ideal for a short one-day break.
Beside the Moselle, a small medieval town. Don't forget your madeleines. No electricity, but if you want it, there is a campground next door.
Nice spot, free for 72 hours, directly on the Moselle, with many benches and tables where you can enjoy a meal. Fresh water available for a fee; gray water can be emptied free of charge. Otherwise, you are self-sufficient with no services.
