Been here?
This well-kept campsite lies quietly in the Habichtswald nature park and provides clean toilets and showers included in the stay. A van for 2 people without electricity costs 25,5, and the site also has a restaurant serving local food. It is a good base for hiking and cycling, with beautiful surrounding nature and friendly operators.

We paid 25.50 for a van with two people, without electricity. Toilet and shower were included in the price and were fine and clean. Really lovely service that tried its best in English. We ate dinner here, which can also be recommended.
What more could you want? Peace, clean sanitary facilities, friendly operators, and a great starting point for unique hikes and beautiful bike rides.
Very well-maintained site in an idyllic location. The toilets and showers are cleaned daily, so it is highly recommended. The operator is very nice and friendly. He asks guests to contact him directly for bookings rather than using the existing link. We will definitely come here again; it is worth it.
lovely campsite in a nice location. clean toilets and showers, plus a lovely restaurant with delicious food.
Beautiful site with a good view. Unfortunately, the operators have changed, and the formerly excellent restaurant has suffered in terms of food selection and quality. The service is no longer as good either. We sent half of our food back. Conclusion: Until now, this was our favourite stopover between southern and northern Germany. Now we will look for another one.
Lovely quiet campsite. The sanitary facilities were fine. You can eat delicious schnitzel in the restaurant. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. For two nights, two people and one camper without electricity, we paid €51.
The camper pitches are tidy, the sanitary facilities are outdated, and many of the permanent pitches look somewhat run-down. The restaurant is another plus point.
The least well-maintained campsite we have ever visited. The sanitary facilities are old, with very poor showers and one hard jet of water. It was obvious that they had not been cleaned during our three days; there were many spiders. The hostess was friendly on arrival, but when we moved the camper because of approaching severe weather, she immediately became grumpy and unfriendly. Very expensive for what it is. We will NOT return. The swimming pool in the village is luxurious and well maintained.
Beautiful campsite in wonderful nature. The sanitary facilities were not new, but always clean. The site is very well maintained. We loved that it still has a restaurant with a beer garden where you can eat excellent food. Thank you!
A superb place. We were permanent campers here for three years. For the last ten years, however, we have travelled by camper, and this campsite has remained our stopover all those years. Good little restaurant, lovely owners, spacious showers, and walks over the Dornberg or in the Habichtswald. Zierenberg is also a pleasant town, with a supermarket, bakery and restaurant—everything close at hand.
nice place, quiet and clean. beautiful nature around. You can eat good local cuisine here.
Normal campers are very well catered for here. One should not be influenced by some reviews. Everyone should check reviews objectively beforehand. The facilities are somewhat older, but everything is very clean and in order. I have never seen such large shower cubicles at a campsite.
Very nice, peacefully located campsite. Sanitary facilities and laundry room are perfectly adequate. The operators are easier to reach by phone than in person.
Wonderful, peaceful campsite in beautiful natural surroundings.
Probably the worst campsite we have stayed at so far. The sanitary facilities are rudimentary and not particularly clean, with spiders everywhere. The pitches have no separation or numbering and no shade at all. Everything about the site seems old-fashioned and uncared for. The price is reasonable, however: €66 for three people with a van for two nights. The site offers almost nothing apart from a restaurant.
A super beautiful, idyllic campsite. The motorhome pitches looked new and were spacious. We received a warm welcome. Mostly permanent campers, whom we hardly heard. Very quiet and idyllic. Dogs are welcome too. Small playground by the tent meadow, directly beside the pond. Sanitary facilities somewhat older but clean. The restaurant service was excellent. We have not experienced such warm and family-like service for a long time.
