Been here?
A large municipal beach car park that is quiet and suitable for an overnight stop, with direct access to the lake and cycle route. Beach access becomes free after 7 p.m., and restaurants operate until 10 p.m. during the season. Sanitary facilities are open until 22-23, but may be closed outside the season. The adjacent railway is usually barely audible at night.

You can park here overnight. From 7 p.m. entry to the beach is free, and the sanitary facilities are open until 10–11 p.m. The snack bar is okay, very basic and rather expensive for what it is. Very friendly staff.
Perfect place for a day or night. After 7 p.m. the beach is free. Restaurants on the beach are open until 10 p.m.
Great place! The entrance to the lake is right next to it. Entry is still free. The bathrooms are closed, presumably because they only open during the season. Quiet and peaceful. A train passes nearby at night, but it is practically inaudible. You can work comfortably because there is mobile coverage.
Quiet parking area, quiet night. Walk through the huts to access the swimming area and the bar.
Spent an absolutely peaceful night here. A good stopover on the way to Budapest.
Great spot near the lake. We stayed here for one night. It was very quiet and peacefull.
Great for an overnight. Out of season it is unlikely the toilets will be open, we were there Friday night to Saturday and closed both days. The strand there is lovely, nothing open at quiet times of the year, so have in stock anything you need for food and drink. Immediate access to the cycle route.
We slept here quietly and safely. Nobody was there; everything was closed. Despite the icy wind, we took a short walk. Very beautiful. We would gladly return.
We stayed here for one night with a dog and had no issues. The beach is currently closed so there were no toilets close by. The lake was frozen so fantastic for ice skating. It’s a large parking lot but with no amenities (currently winter).
We slept here for one night. The beach park is currently open and you can access the lake for free. The parking area is very large; only the adjacent rail traffic could be bothersome. However, as far as I noticed, the trains do not run from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. We still slept well.
We had a great day here. In September the beach is free access, though isome facilities shut. Big thanks to the very friendly server at McCayals bufe, still operating right now fed us and explained free park access from 1 Sept (about 3500 adult day this season passed). I waited until park emptying then used warm accessible shower in only open WC. Also drinking water & cold water shower in park. access from 1 Sept. The railway is closer but did not disturb us overnight.
We arrived in the evening and did not encounter anything worrying. A peaceful, quiet place, perfect for one night after a full day of driving. There is a restaurant next door where you can sit outside at a table even after dark. No toilets nearby and no possibility of accessing Lake Balaton for swimming. A pedestrian and cycling path runs nearby, with access to a small pier a little farther on. I definitely recommend it!
The beach facility is open after 7 p.m. Toilets are open, showers closed. Very noisy and dusty because local residents heat their homes from the site. We drove on because it was very loud and dirty.
We spent a quiet night here; nobody was there. The beach is open and still free in April, and the small café at the beach facility is already open.
Everything was fine for us, outside the season; it was genuinely quiet.
