12 Zone Industrielle la Canarderi, 62880, Pont-à-Vendin
Been here?
Flat parking beside the canal, with space for several motorhomes and walks along the water. It has no services or toilets, and nearby industrial activity can create daytime noise. Nights may be quiet, but recent reports describe heavy traffic, loud music and conversations between 2h and 6h30, especially on Saturday nights.

We spent the night of July 19, 2026 here. It is a beautiful place but very busy at night. A lot of traffic between 2 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., with music playing loudly. One car with young people stayed from 4:30 to 6 a.m. chatting. Definitely avoid Saturday nights! Very busy with cyclists and walkers in the morning, but they are not disturbing at all.
We were here in December 2025, a very nice and quiet spot. All details have already been mentioned by others.
Very quiet night, with many passers-by in the morning.
It could be peaceful if some people didn’t come drag-racing at 3 a.m. and chat nearby as if they were alone in the area. On the street just perpendicular to this one, there is a house (are they from there, or are they young people who came to one of the company parking lots just behind it?)... Noise leads to more noise, like the barking dog... In short, it was peaceful at first, but then...
An unusual and pleasant place to stay! Perfectly flat and mostly very quiet apart from some noise from the factory nearby on the same side of the canal as the parking area until about 19h00. A few locals jogging and walking their dogs after that but very little noise or disturbance from the nearby road.
Very nice place, with plenty of space; at least 15 motorhomes can park. You can go for walks or cycle along the canal.
Quiet space no one there on a Saturday. Some people drinking on the street on the way in but the parking itself seemed quite safe. We were sleeping in our car but the parking is big enough for campers and vans with no height restriction. No services or toilets but close enough to McDonalds/Lille that you can find one if you need it. Peaceful morning with a few quiet joggers and cyclists.
Nice place, but extremely noisy during the week because of the crushing plant opposite and the unloading of the barge. A 5 a.m. wake-up is guaranteed!
There are no signs about parking for cars but for boats. Although it is a nice and quiet place with a good view. The other side of the river has industry this side there is manufacturing business but we spend s peaceful night. In the morning are some people walking their dogs.
